Your entire political philosophy and a large majority of your posting centers around identity politics. This post is a classic example of identity politics. Modern conservatism, or at least modern Republicanism, is essentially intense identity politics married to wealthy donor interests.

McVeigh was the most trained and competent of recent domestic American terrorists but his dream of starting a race war failed. Americans don't want another civil war. The extremists don't care. They live in a cartoon world constructed by William Pierce and David Lane. It's about projecting their own psychopathology, which also makes them lousy soldiers, even guerrillas. These guys can acquire some basic tactics and equipment but most are showboating morons like Lavoy Finicum who are spoiling for a fight. They will scream that they are martyrs and patriots but they're traitors and murderers. Typically they are failed men with status anxiety in a changing world who must blame all of their problems on an "Other". They are criminals and terrorists and should be dealt with accordingly or you will have American Brownshirts on your hands.
