ajax, could you clarify what you mean by “ignoring”? Are you referring specifically to a lack of penalty being applied to the black kid, or the lack of widely broadcasting the incident as a means to serve a different agenda?
I mean if this kid murdered or even punched him knocking him out I can see how it could make national news, but seriously, some kid bullying another kid caught on video is the kind of ____ we could watch literally every day if the news really wanted to focus on that stuff.

That isn't what I said. I said school bullying videos are a dime a dozen on youtube. If news outlets really wanted to focus on this kind of crap every day they could but they don't, and the ONLY reason you want them to in this instance is because it is a black kid harassing a white kid in a MAGA hat. That's it.

I was thinking the same thing. When someone as divisive as Trump is creates so many enemies from various quadrants of society, it is unfair to lump them all in the same bin as "the left."

My first thought is that a 19 year old who gets into a fight with an elderly man over a MAGA hat might not even have ideological views. That's what I'd expect, but you never know. Doc wants to use the attack to make a generalization about "the left" but he never does any work to connect it. Meanwhile, one of the few categories we know this teen belongs to - people who dislike Trumpworld - is a category Doc shares with him. Yet that's not where his generalization goes.
