Uh oh - looks like a hint of truth has entered this bizarre thread.
I'd bet you dime to dollar if Pence were a Muslim, and a Democrat, we wouldn't be hearing ____ on this matter, but, because he's a Christian and Republican, and occupies a high position on the cultural power hierarchy, as it were, I guess he's fair game for lies, innuendo, and bigotry.

Considering that many on the Right have a preoccupation with Muslim folks, transgender/gay people, ‘feminazis’, social justice warriors and black folks, I’d say that this sort of myopia seems to be present within more factions than you want to see.
But, hey - why let reality ruin a perfectly good display of Prager-induced fearmongering?

The reality (which is not the strong suit for many of you on this particular discussion board) is that preoccupation (it's actually complete obsession in my opinion) with gender/race/sexual orientation/religious beliefs is deeply cemented in the political left.
But don't let actual reality sway you from repeating the talking point nonsense of the political party that relies on and perpetuates identity politics.
Ceeboo - I would never dare meet alone with a member of the opposite gender. It’s good advice. Questioning me on this makes me want to elect Donald Trump.

Your posts in this thread are hardcore identity politics. You literally argued that Republicans must smash Democrats to save America because you like their identity politics.
It seems that “identity politics” for you is code for disagreement with your deep social conservatism. You’ve picked up the language of boilerplate criticism of identity politics while not retaining any of its substance. This happens to the point that even when you are arguing for discriminatory treatment based on gender identity and desire political opposition to criticism of you for it, you see the people saying don’t do that as the ones peddling identity politics.
The Republican party runs heavily on identity politics these days because their national economic agenda is deeply unpopular and their increasingly homogeneous coalition of support is motivated by identity issues. That's why they turn focus on things ranging from protesting NFL players to migrant caravans. Donald Trump is the most identity politics oriented President I've ever seen. I'd bet a hefty sum of money that you see these issues and don't view them as identity politics because of a combination of not understanding what the term means and viewing your opinions on identity issues as the default such that any disagreement with them is playing "identity politics."
That's how we end up with goofy situations like disagreement with your identity politics being criticized as perpetuating identity politics.

I can’t seem to find the talking point I’ve supposedly repeated that you’re referring to. Are you imagining this?
(ETA: this is probably where you stop engaging ...)

I haven't replied to several of your posts directed at me by design. in my opinion, just like an ever-growing number of my fellow American citizens, I have long past reached the point of simply rejecting/ignoring the nonsense that radical leftists like you continue to spew.
Am I right? I dunno but I guess we shall see come 2020.

It's always fun to watch someone with religious fantasies and a devotion to right-wing BS lecture others on reality in the same way it's fun to watch a dog chase his tail.

Could you direct me to the post where he started engaging? I can't find it. I can only see him talking to imaginary "radical leftists" (with the same fervor I'm sure he employs for his imaginary sky fairy).
God belief is for people who don't want to live life on the universe's terms.

You can't seem to find it? I'll help you then (That's the kind of guy I am) - The talking point I am referring to is your suggestion (wrong headed as it surely is) that "many on the right have a preoccupation with Muslim folks, transgender/gay people, feminazis and black people." The truth (not a leftist value by the way) is that the great great great great majority of those on the right have entirely zero worries about "Muslims folks" or "black people" or "transgender/gay people". Most of the people on the right (at least the great majority of people that I know) care about the BEHAVIOR/ACTIONS of individual people - and could,'t care less about their skin color or their religious beliefs.
Are you sure you didn't make a typo - And you meant to suggest that many people on the left have this preoccupation? (Obsession in my opinion)
