Pence loyalist is loyal to Pence. Breaking news. If Mike Pence opposed women's right to vote in the early 1900's, we could find women who firmly support him in that project. If you want to demonstrate that Mike Pence has treated women fairly, then you might want to find evidence his dining policy hasn't resulted in men and women being treated differently. The odd thing is Mike Pence had ample opportunity to say just that and declined to do so.

The man is no stranger to lying through his teeth, so even if that weren't true, the fact that he didn't even issue a false denial about it is interesting to me. No shaking of his head and tut-tutting this one.

Do you really have a hard time understanding discrimination is not necessarily good or bad. It depends on what you are discriminating against. Do you not get that if someone is meeting with just one gender one on one in activities that have real influence on people's career's that it is unfair for the gender that doesn't get the one on one meeting?

It's an accusation leveled at Mike Pence by Mike Pence. I'm referring to reporting in the Washington Post that he told the Hill several years prior that he does not dine alone with women. This resulted in a firestorm of criticism that his people responded to not by denying it, but by slightly changing the subject.

I don't see anyone suggesting the VP should, but certainly there are many accusations politicians should address in order for people to understand what their position is.

I'm of the opinion that what Mike Pence initially said might not be true, but he said it and stays behind it because it presents an image of him living up to fundamentalist evangelical values he wants out there. Fundamentalist politician isn't the prude with conservative sexual values he portrays himself to be is not exactly an unheard of story.

Whatever the case may be, we know that Mike Pence is no stranger to issuing false denials, and he didn't issue a denial in this case, so he's probably fine with people believing this about him.
