It looks like the Mayors of Philadelphia and Chicago are super ok with Trump's plan:

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney responded in a statement: "While the Trump administration's proposal shows their disdain to basic human dignity, the City (Philadelphia) would be prepared to welcome these immigrants just as we have embraced our immigrant communities for decades."

...

In Chicago, Mayor Rahm Emanuel said in a statement "We would welcome these migrants with open arms, just as we welcomed Syrian refugees, just as we welcomed Puerto Ricans displaced by Hurricane Maria and just as we welcome Rohingya refugees fleeing genocide in Myanmar."

I'm glad to see they're owning their own policy. Win-win!

You're wrong about this. People change their beliefs all the time. It's called wisdom.

I express my beliefs all the time, and people seem to want to listen to me, even people who disagree. I get more attention than I need, and I attribute it to trying to avoid bullshitting at all costs.

I don't think he means "majority " in the sense of the population of California being able to ignorantly swing an election, but rather, it seems to be in the sense of the voters that showed up to the polls in key electoral college states within which the Clinton campaign failed to realize an effective and successful campaign strategy.

So, not a majority then.

This exposes the fact that you live in a fantasy world. It's hilarious to imagine the majority of Americans think like you do.

You are less honest with yourself than most people. That much is clear.

because semantics is so relevant here, ok ya douche - but notice how you're the one still putting that meaningless stat of the 2016 popular vote on your pillow at night.

So, as long as we clear that "a silent majority rose up" means, "a minority used quirks of American democracy to seize political power" then we're clear. "Semantics" as you say.

You're expressing liberal politically correct beliefs. You get government protected freedom of speech in that case perhaps even the bully pulpit. I wouldn't dare let a liberal boss know I voted for Trump. Simply wearing a "MAGA," hat or having a Trump bumper sticker makes you a target. There's a double standard about it that I don't think you can really see. I would say you might get a pass if you were to publicly advocate Trump for president (assuming you could) because of your demographic. But then again, even Kanye West didn't get a pass for supporting Trump.

The left sees a MAGA hat no differently than my avatar. To me there's an enormous difference. But since it's all the same to them, that's why I go hard core on my positions here.

And when the confederates saw Jackson standing fearless as a stone wall the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

No one should ever get a pass for supporting Trump. Unless you're verifiably mentally retarded.

You've repeated this strawman dozens of times. I've seen it corrected many times only for you to slink away and repeat it again. I believe you are being willfully dishonest with this.

People think you're a racist because you are literal Storm Fronter who has expressed racist views on a wide array of subjects. It's not because you "want a border."

It is blazingly clear to any objective observer familiar with Ajax's posting history that willful dishonesty and ignorance and virulent racism are his most prominent characteristics. I don't think this is even controversial. As far as racism is concerned, he really doesn't seem to dispute that himself or seem the slightest bit apologetic about it. Rather, if anything, he actually seems proud of that and to regard it as one of his chief virtues!
No precept or claim is more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
