I attempted to log in my vote for Perfume but slipped and cast a vote for BABYMETAL.

There is no way this cute trio of singers could take on the Mysterians, let alone Mothra, Rodan, or Godzilla. They simply do not have the power of the electro-voiced Perfume trio. The possibility that any of those monsters could wade ashore during the Olympics needs to be considered.

That said Hatsune Miku, the leader on the list by almost double the second place band's total, seems about perfect for the purpose of representing Japan as a result of an online voting website.
