The rule applies to a taxpayers filing as married where one of the filers provides, in lieu of a Social Security number, an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number—which the IRS issues to workers who don't have a Social Security Number.

So, unless you can provide proof that there are 10 million of these sort of tax filers and they are in fact legally married to legal immigrants then you must admit to either being a liar or a person who intends to mislead others for the purposes of your TDS induced hair-fire.

About 1.2 million immigrants who lack legal status are married to a U.S. citizen, according to the Migration Policy Institute....and many of these were expecting such an exclusion because the EXACT SAME POLICY was applied for the 2008 tax rebate....gee, who was that President!?!?

Nope - you said 10 million would go without and you have nothing but unsubstantiated hearsay to support such hyperbole.
You also said legally married when, in fact, the legal status of the couple is irrelevant to the policy. The policy applies to any couple, with an immigrant or not, that files with a married filing jointly status where one of the filers has provided an ITN. There is no way to determine the legal status of the marriage and there is no way to determine if the ITN is associated with an immigrant. Your TDS hair fire is absurd, and your bias inflammatory position is without reason or substance.
