Re: Musk. I’m not quite clear on what he means. Like, does the red pill mean vote Republican because some Democrat pissed him off? Is he trying to horn in on the money the Spaaaaaaaace Force will bring? Last thing I understood he said was something to the effect Jews control the media, which, is true. Is he beefing with Jews now? Enquiring (ha) minds want to know.

Re: Math is hard for at least three liberals
Musk is probably enjoying the ambiguity of it all. He has the socialist red rose right after that, so what fun he must be having. The responses are a massive wave of alt-rightists in celebration mode.
Red-pilling evolved from adopting the misogynistic fake sociology of the early man-o-sphere into adopting a amorphous hodge podge of bigoted beliefs and conspiracy theories associated with the coalition of bigoted movements that is the alt-right. Musk is certainly aware of that. Even if his intent is some sort of cryptic semi-ironic sarcasm - which seems iffy given that he's gotten hard into COVID trutherism in the past few weeks - he ought to know that he's encouraging people to get "red pilled" in the alt-right sense. Encouraging people who will take you seriously to be Ajax is bad even if you have your fingers crossed behind your back.

What? That guy is greater than Abraham Lincoln. "Elon Musk Is The Most Important Person Alive Today" - Neil deGrasse Tyson
What red pill? If you are healthy it is very unlikely that the virus sends you to the hospital.

Eh?
It's not the most important thing happening right now, but a profoundly wealthy person with a cult of personality around him encouraging people to join the alt-right, ironically or not, or signaling ideological kinsmanship with alt-right ideas is a story. Depending on whether it goes from here will determine if the if your reaction should be anything from "What a dick," to "Oh, this is quite bad."
Think about his attempts to spread COVID misinformation. It's bad that Musk went on Joe Rogan's show a week or so ago to spread COVID misinformation. That was a dick move. But if he started (or is?) throwing serious dollars behind amplifying COVID truther themes, that's a different level of concern we should have.
Right now, I'd put the interest-o-meter at "Screw that guy."

I don't know who Laci Green is, so I can't say. Almost by definition, yes. There is a niche' meaning in ex-Mormon circles of referring to "taking the red pill" as losing belief in Mormonism because the "having the wool pulled from one's eyes" scene resonates in the same way. So if this is a Mormon reference, then it's just a different meaning of the term than it's common meaning Musk is using.
"Getting red-pilled" means adopting alt-right beliefs. Could mean getting into white nationalism, or pseudo-scientific misogyny, or Q-anon conspiracy theories, or all of the above. That's the general direction it's pointing in.

Re: Math is hard for at least three liberals
Laci Green is an ex-Mormon atheist and a far left feminist. She did take the red pill, but still considers herself to be a SWJ feminist.
"In May 2017, Green uploaded two videos to her YouTube channel, "TAKING THE RED PILL?",[14] and its follow-up, "Caught between extremes. [Red Pill 2]."[15][note 1] In the first video, Green discussed how she began talking with anti-SJW YouTube personalities on Twitter during her YouTube hiatus, and stated that she planned to launch "a series of live debates with feminists and anti-feminists."[14] She explained that she had gone "down the rabbit hole of anti-SJW videos," and while she found some channels to be "disrespectful," there were others she considered "well-cited" and "reasoned."["

Okay. Can you please give me a reference to where Ellon Musk is endorsing alt-right beliefs?

Okay, I am not a fan of men's rights, but perhaps Musk is just tired of the gender pay gap and other feminists theories?
