How sad that deporting immigrants is a priority for Republicans. We really have bigger problems to worry about. Jesus Christ!!!!
Let's worry instead about the serious threat of a pandemic disease, climate change, poverty, diabetes.

I am not a smart guy, but I think most of my concerns are valid.

I have more spiritual revelations than President Nelson. I am now going to start my own church.
Hopefully I get a DT predictions megathread.

Climate change, poverty, diabetes, and pandemics seem like a safe list of both acute and general concerns that will inevitably impact individuals and society at some point. I'd be impressed if you now realized your dreams of alien salvation is a death wish, and A.I. is much more likely to replace you than save you.

But then again, minus diabetes these are also the go to stories for summer blockbuster movies so there is that.

and pandemics
Right! Intelligent people know that, but the problem is that almost no one was talking about it. Other topics dominated the headlines in 2018. I am the only one here in Mormon Discussions that said a pandemic is a serious threat. No one else bothered to say it. I even quoted myself.

There is a high probability that an alien space probe is somewhere in the solar system and we will likely find it someday.

I predicted 2040 (I got lucky with that) here.

Global Warming is going to get pretty bad in 2040 and you said months later, "The authors found that if greenhouse gas emissions continue at the current rate, the atmosphere will warm up by as much as 2.7 degrees Fahrenheit (1.5 degrees Celsius) above preindustrial levels by 2040, inundating coastlines and intensifying droughts and poverty."

Umm, you need to read that source. Your comment is about a time when crap is so bad there won't be a party to not vote for let alone have ten years before the economy is affected negatively by climate change.
