Re: Anyone following the Gabby Petito case? (Breaking)
Well okay, let's go with these alleged sightings that don't match up.
Dog was live on camera earlier today on an island in Florida. Again, I don't know jack about Dog. Apparently he's an ex-con turned bounty hunter or something. Apparently he's caught wanted persons. I have NO freaking clue if Dog is legit.
Was Dog really live? I have no idea.
Is Dog in NC? I have no idea.
All I do know is that Brian Laundrie is full of himself and like all fugitives, he'll make stupid mistakes. He's already made stupid mistakes when he allegedly off'd his girlfriend and then returned home without her driving HER vehicle.
WTF.
Anyway, I will say this much more. This case has been popping like I've never seen a case pop before. Largely due to the impact of social media on the case which is a double edged sword. Very good in the sense that if it weren't for Red, White and Bethune's travel vlog, LE wouldn't have been able to pinpoint at least one date that the vehicle (with the door legit closing as the vlogger's vehicle approached) was in Spread Creek. Bad, because now everyone and their literal dog are trying to get their fingers into it especially youtubers trying to make a click bait buck off it---some are serious about cases, some are hacks. All are trying to make a buck that is for sure.
So...I don't know what SKYLINE news is, but I will find out. If it's a legit source, then I would assume it's legit covering the case. If it's not, then it's every other hack on the internet getting their 5 minutes and stirring the pot.
Don't get me wrong, stirring the pot can be a good thing, but if it screws up the investigation/manhunt, it's only getting in the way.
Some little, I mean big, part, of me would like to see this Dog man locate Brian Laundrie just for the flipping hell of seeing that happen. If he locates Brian Laundrie he has to have LE accompany him because so far as his wiki indicates, he's not in a position to take custody of a person. Also, isn't allowed to carry a firearm.
He had LE with him earlier today on the dock in Florida or so it was claimed by his daughter, I believe.
So. Welcome to the world of 'true crime' where nothing makes sense until the end, and in most cases, the end itself never makes sense.
Waiting for Brian Laundrie to screw up. He'll do it eventually I am sure. They basically all do.

More than that, its location was on videotaped Aug 27th, and her body was found, shortly after the vloggers turned that in to authorities, just 900 feet from the location. The autopsy states time of death between Aug 27th and Aug 30th. It looked like the body was dumped on the far edge of a very large, dry creek bed. I can only imagine the guy leaving her body there, thinking that it wouldn't be found before the seasons changed and water runoff dispersed the remains. in my opinion, given the incredibly large area, they would not have found her body for months or years, maybe never.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 7:47 pm... Without that video placing her van at that location and that date, in my opinion he would probably not be able to be charged with her death.

So....Dog has dogs in a boat.
He's got retired LE working for him, one of whom is a former federal agent---this from WFLA news guy who has seen the credentials...says he thinks one was former HLS.
Okay. So, a helicopter zig zagging and going in loops over Fort DeSoto Park. Again, WFLA reporting.

The body was discovered in a diagonal direction from where the van was parked. In between, the creek bed has evidence markers dotted on the rocks that look like they zig zag--which doesn't mean anything really. But to the novice eye (which we all are) it gives the appearance/impression that he was chasing her to the other side of the creek where she was found. The creek isn't dry though. I did post photos earlier in this thread of where the body was located.
Let me try to come up with better photos for review here.

Okay just quickly since I'm listening to a live stream...
Here's a pic where someone else placed a cross memorial marker. I'm showing this just to show the creek.

upload
Here's a pic of where the body was located. You can seen the creek. Now...some parts of the creek do appear to be dry bed but they are not completely dry at all. I hope that some day this case can go to trial and we'll be able to see all the forensics instead of having to rely on pics from people who have traveled there recently out of curiosity and also in tribute.
That and the fact that some people will alter photos just for the dopamine hit they get when they read public comments.
As to these photos, when they show up in the discovery, that's when I'll believe them. Until then, I remain skeptical.
You can see more evidence markings in the background of this pic. Those are NOT forest service markers as some people are saying online.

I should have been more specific. 'MOSTLY' dry creek bed. It looks like he thought (if he was thinking) that the spring runoff would wash whatever was left downstream.Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 9:10 pmLem wrote: ↑Wed Sep 29, 2021 8:57 pm
