That is rough Jersey Girl, sorry to hear it.

I assume based on our previous conversations that you are consuming lots of water? I only ask because from anecdotal experience those people I know who hydrate well seemed to have less issues.

Hope you get to feeling better.
I'm overall fine but...ugh. Yes, hydrating and a lot.

Got the third dose of Pfizer on Tuesday. GEEZ.

I have one side effect: FATIGUE. Lots of it. Like every single day and night since then. The first 2 doses made me sleepy but this is x's a hundred compared to that. Walking up the stairs (when I usually run) feels like bricks are tied to my feet. I've been sleeping average 12 hours every night and do not feel rested when I wake up. It's crazy.

It's okay. I'll do this every 6 months for the rest of my life if I need to.

I don't mind dragging myself around. It's far better than dragging myself to a bed on a Covid unit. Anyway, I thought I would share that with the 3rd dose...it's different for me. Not horrible, but different for sure.
I hope you feel better soon, Jerz. My second vaccine was a doozy. I think the booster will be at half dose.

I had COVID back in early September and had the antibody infusion, so I won’t get my Moderna booster until early December due to having the antibody infusion. Mr. Nobody who shared his COVID with me never got tested and never got the antibody infusion and was a lot more Ill than I was. As a nurse, I’ve seen too much not to get the vaccine(s). Of course, it is also mandated by my employer.
Feel better soon!

My third Pfizer shot hit me much harder than the first two.

As an aside. I gave a female patient her flu and pneumonia vaccines the other day, and she told me, “I am a closet vaxxer. I am an anti-vaxxer on social media, but I’ve had both my COVID vaccines.” Sure enough, she had had both vaccines. It kind of made me angry thinking about how many people she may influence who won’t get the vaccine because of her social media comments.

Hi Nobody!

I feel much better this evening! I never felt sick or anything, just a ton of fatigue which was unexpected. So given what you said I'm guessing they space the booster out 3 months or so from an antibody infusion? Is that the protocol? You're the only person I know of who had the infusion.

All I had with the first two was some sleepiness and If I recall correctly I was normal or next to normal energy the next day. Whatever normal is. ;-)

Was it just the fatigue, Kish? Or did you have additional side effects? Wow this third shot knocked me on my behind!

My wife and two oldest girls were very sick after their second shot. My oldest daughter was so sick she slept downstairs on the couch so she didn't have to walk up the stairs. So when I went to get my first shot I was actually kind of excited because I was thinking it would be a good excuse to take off work for a day or two. But I had no side effects at all, just a very minor soreness in my arm. So when I went to the pharmacy for my second shot I was thinking that maybe the second shot was a higher concentration/dose and I would probably get sick after the second shot. Well, the lady who gave me the shot said there's no difference between the first or second, they're exactly the same. Sure enough, I didn't have any side effects after the second shot, not even a sore arm. I feel kinda ripped off tell you the truth. Kind of worry too! Is it true the sicker you are the more antibodies your immune system is building up?

Well that is something you don't hear about every day. You know it's not just her influencing others, apparently she's let social media influence her. That's really disturbing and sad.

It looks blue on my screen.

ETA: But the same line on this post looks black to me. Weird.
