Mr. Rittenhouse may not have shot first, but he was the first to shoot a full metal jacket into a person. The other shots were meant to disarm Mr. Rittenhouse and warn him that he was not in danger.
Classic
Mr. Rosenbaum was a peaceful protester at various moments that evening, and certainly he was peaceful when he was shot by a white supremacist with a black AR (assault rifle.)
Mr. Rittenhouse broke the laws. In fact, many posters on here have successfully debunked any suggestion that did not break the law. The laws do not allow him to possess a firearm while committing a crime, and he was committing the crime of curfew violation, so he was breaking the law.
Yes, I know. Only people left of center are allowed out past curfew, at least that seems to be how the law is applied.
Mr. Rittenhouse was driven to the peaceful protest by his mother. My almost ex mother in law drove me mad and my ex-fiancee drove me insane and Mr. Rittenhouse was driven to go be a murderer at the peaceful protest by his mother and these are facts.
Perhaps you could link failure to drive a Tesla to the felony murder rule and put Mrs. Rittenhouse in prison so long that she can never put out a leftist arsonists fire at a "mostly" peaceful protest ever again!
Mr. Rittenhouse came to Kenosha, and he killed two people. If he had not come to Kenosha, he could not have killed even one person there. So he obviously came there to do that. There were no protests in Illinois that night, so he came to Kenosha to kill. The jury understands this and they will return a conviction that I asked for in my closing arguments.

The victims were there to protest not to do what they had done previously. Minors are not even allowed to burn cities and cars so the pedophile guy was complying with his probation by being at the protest without a minor.
Well I must say Mr. Binger, you're one of the finest legal minds in the country. CNN will be lucky to have you as a legal analyst alongside the honorable Jeffry Toobin.

And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Ajax,

How many people were cited for curfew violations in Kenosha?

Please do not bring this up again. ajax18, please do not answer this request until after the jury finishes deliberations.
My apologies Mr. Binger. Know that I am unworthy to pay your bills.

Look! This right wing authoritarian judge just made an unconstitutional dictatorial order to not allow MNSBC to photograph the people serving on the Rittenhouse cases jury. How will they be able to leak their identity and contact information to the media and post it on Facebook. Antifa may not find out who they are in time to threaten them sufficiently. Judge Schroeder is destroying American democracy.
Judge Bruce Schroeder of the Kenosha County Court in Wisconsin announced Thursday morning that he had ejected MSNBC from further coverage of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial after a man claiming to be a producer allegedly followed a bus containing jurors.

Schroeder convened the court as the jury continued its deliberations for a third day in the trial, in which Rittenhouse faces two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, and two counts of reckless endangerment after he shot three rioters, killing two, during last summer’s Black Lives Matter riots in the small Midwestern city in what he claims was self-defense.

According to the judge, a man named James G. (or J) Morrison, who claimed to be a producer for MSNBC, who said he was working for an MSNBC executive named Irene Byon in New York, was stopped Wednesday evening by local police as he was following the bus transporting jurors to and from the courthouse in his car.

The bus, the judge explained, has covered windows so that jurors will not see protests for or against either side in the trial as they arrive at the courthouse, and will not be intimidated or influenced.

The judge acknowledged that there had been a statement by police, and that journalists had begun to ask about it.

The judge explained that Morrison had driven his car through a red light as he followed the jury bus, and was stopped by local police. Morrison allegedly told police he had been following the jury bus on instructions from Byon, and had been “taken in” for further questioning.

While the matter was still being investigated, he said, MSNBC had been kicked out of the courthouse for the remainder of the proceedings. Judge Schroeder, who said the ultimate truth of the incident was not yet known, nevertheless called the incident an “extremely serious matter.”

Irene Byon is listed at LinkedIn as being a booking producer for MSNBC. James Morrison is listed by Muck Rack as having worked at NBC News, and a “Jim Morrison” is listed at LinkedIn as an “anchor at NBC.”

On Wednesday, the judge had expressed his frustration with the media in general, saying they were spreading “misinformation” about the trial, about his rulings from the bench, and about the attorneys on either side of the case. He added that his experience had caused him to reconsider allowing future trials to be televised in his courtroom.

I heard that the jury asked Mr. Rittenhouse to retrieve his AR-15 and protect them on the way out of the courthouse following the trial.
