Remember, as the prosecutor, I am agreeing with you and hoped that the defendant's open possession of an "assault rifle" and his presence at a violent riot voided his right to a defense and entitled the participants of the protest to give him the beating that we should all take from time to time. Your answer, to me, is that you believe that by not being 20 miles away in Kenosha, Mr. Rittenhouse was not entitled to defend himself in Kenosha on that date, therefore, the self-defense arguments made during the trial should have been superseded by the charges alleged by the prosecution. In short, Kyle Rittenhouse should have been 20 miles away, he was not, therefore he is not entitled to self-defense and should be found guilty of murder and reckless endangerment.
