Let go or be dragged, I say. Good on ya, though. This content of this thread is now like 80% B.S..
I watched a better quality video in slow motion. Here is a better explanation
According to court records, Huber had a skateboard in his right hand and used it to "make contact" with Rittenhouse's left shoulder as they struggled for control of the gun.
And I wouldn't expect a skateboard to send a strong young man to the hospital.
He whacked KR in the head, grabbed his gun, and as he was pulling the gun away KR discharged a round. He was in the middle of being attacked when Huber attacked and attempted to disarm him. KR, like it or not, had a right to shoot his attackers under these circumstances.
Don't you think it would colossally F up the States case against Rittenhouse if they charged the people he shot with attempted murder or assault? That would vindicate Kyle would it not?
I am not saying Rittenhouse is guilty of murder. I said earlier,
Well of course, I would have declared him not guilty because I am not entirely convinced he is guilty.
I never said you said that Kyle was guilty of murder. I was answering your question as to why the state wouldn't charge Huber or Grosskreutz with attempted murder or assault.

That is what I am saying. You cannot claim legal self defense if you provoke someone into attacking you. My wording may have been poor.
No, you're not allowed to claim self-defense from an attack you provoked unless the attack makes you believe your life is in danger, and then you may go ahead and use deadly force; or in other words: you're not allowed to claim self-defense from an attack you provoked unless the attack makes you believe your life is in danger, and then you can go ahead and claim self-defense.

Yes, I corrected my post before you replied. You are correct in this instance.

Did you hear KR shouting for them to get back or was that not KR? I thought it was him and most of the folks backed off. The other guys charged him. FFS it's right there on tape. You can watch it at regular speed, slow speed, or whatever you like. I mean...it's RIGHT damned THERE.
