You tube is awesome when you're out numbered 30 to 1 on a discussion board.

Having your abject stupidity a roundly accepted fact doesn't piss me off.Atlanticmike wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 7:52 pmDid you see where I said it makes me happy to know it pisses you guys off? A video is tens times more impactful than one ridiculous post because it allows the reader to link to an opinion held by millions upon millions of other people that might hold a different opinion. You remind me of Boyd K Packer!! You don't seem to like people sharing information you can't control.

Sorry I'm taking so long to answer, I'm still on the ground laughing at what you just posted. Be back in a few minutes.
When you come back, let me know if you and your wife have ever used birth control.

Of the many abortion statistics, this one I find interesting. In 2014 more than 38% of those getting abortions reported no religious affiliation. That means the religious in America that oppose abortions are doing a piss poor job of convincing their own flock. If religious people would stop having abortions that would reduce the number by more than half. So start with trying to better succeed in teaching your people in the pews and stop trying to regulate everyone else's behavior according to your religion.

Mike, what’s up with trying to turn this into a race issue? Isn’t that something that only those evil PROGRESSIVES do?
What are you trying to say? Cat got your tongue, or somethin’?

Still waiting for answers about what constitutes a ‘minority zip code’, what ‘walking distance’ means, and how many POC need to live near a Planned Parenthood in order to accuse it of being purposefully situated near POC.

https://www.acog.org/advocacy/facts-are ... fetal-painA human fetus does not have the capacity to experience pain until after viability. Rigorous scientific studies have found that the connections necessary to transmit signals from peripheral sensory nerves to the brain, as well as the brain structures necessary to process those signals, do not develop until at least 24 weeks of gestation. Because it lacks these connections and structures, the fetus does not even have the physiological capacity to perceive pain until at least 24 weeks of gestation.
In fact, the perception of pain requires more than just the mechanical transmission and reception of signals. Pain is “an emotional and psychological experience that requires conscious recognition of a noxious stimulus.” This capacity does not develop until the third trimester at the earliest, well past the period between 20 weeks and viability. The evidence shows that the neural circuitry necessary to distinguish touch from painful touch does not, in fact, develop until late in the third trimester. The occurrence of intrauterine fetal movement is not an indication that a fetus can feel pain.

Mike is full of crap on the black abortion figure:
https://www.guttmacher.org/fact-sheet/i ... fCEALw_wcBWhite patients accounted for 39% of abortion procedures in 2014, black patients for 28%, Hispanic patients for 25%, and patients of other races and ethnicities for 9%

It’s usually easier if you just read the instructions on the package.
Coaching help can be arranged if you need it, I suppose. Try Craigslist.

Re: Roe on the Chopping Block
If you’re interested in accurate information, YouTube is a wasteland. If I’m having a discussion with you, I don’t care what some guy on you tube says. If you’ve got a valid argument, then make it. Hell, if I think I’ve got a good argument, I don’t care how many people argue against me. I’ll make the argument and challenge them to either show me that my argument is wrong and why or to show me that they’ve got a better argument. I don’t need to hide behind some guy on YouTube. I give it my best shot and then reflect on the interaction to see whose got the better argument. If the other folks have a better argument, I’ll change my view. If you’re not willing to stock your neck out and have your ideas challenged, why come to a discussion board.Atlanticmike wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 7:31 pmYou tube is awesome when you're out numbered 30 to 1 on a discussion board. I supply links to videos that show people who agree with me and if anyone clicks on the link and watches the video, more than likely they'll read the comments and see that they're actually people out there that think like me. This is a faaaaar left board. My links provide the other side of the story. Besides, it pisses some of you guys off. Kinda like Mormon Stories and John Dehlin pisses off Orthodox Mormons.
When you respond to me with a link to some guy on YouTube, it just communicates to me that you’re just parroting stuff you’ve heard from people who agree with you. But you haven’t done the heavy lifting of thinking about the words you are parroting and figuring out whether they make a strong argument or are just BS. In terms of discussion, you might as well wave a giant white flag that says “got no game.”
So, you can hide behind some guy on YouTube all you want. I won’t watch. If you can’t take the time to understand and explain your argument, then why should I spend my time?
