Every day I get in the car and click on Youtube and listen to the latest on my playlist, and Rogan's something I subscribed to so I occasionally click on it if it seems like an interesting subject. What I find sad, and as you know I strongly disagree with his Covid treatment takes, is the hard Left is so orthodoxical that if someone like JR is targeted then you better watch your back because these people, and I’m talking about the partisans, are champing at the bit to make up for their own failures and insecurities.

To be honest I never really thought about the lack of diversity on his show until this fiasco just happened and he apologized about the repeated slurs and promised to be more diverse. When I heard him say that I assumed he was acknowledging a lack of diversity, which, as I said, never really dawned on me as an issue until I was trying to think of all the guests I remembered on his shows. I also don't recognize most of the names you mentioned, so I'll assume they're all black except for Edward Snowden?

Nobody was arrested and it didn't even make the news.

Not tyranny. If it was they'd be rounded up and mostly killed or imprisoned for life for making the ruling party look bad.

I don’t think ActBlue, a Democratic super pac, working with the guys above to produce a hit piece in order to get JR off the air can’t be considered anything other than an attempt to cancel him. That isn’t absurd. That’s actually pretty scary.

The term ‘canceling someone’ is clearly understood to be a political action taken by partisans to de-platform or otherwise remove someone from the public arena for views that run afoul of their orthodoxy. I don’t think this thread is absurd at all. I think the revelation that this was a legitimate hit piece financed by a super pac ought to make your butthole pucker. The intended and unintended consequences for this kind of behavior far outweigh what JR has or hasn’t said on his podcast, in my opinion.
