Here’s (just one place) where you get it completely wrong.

Probably everyone you’re yelling at here has family members that are still completely ‘in the program’. The folks in this forum don’t indiscriminately ‘hate Mormons’, be they family, neighbors, or casual acquaintances. They may have legitimate issues with Church history, or Church policy, or some of the asinine things that the leadership does, or they might even have a deep dislike for funeral potatoes and green jello - but, just because you can’t convince them to agree with you, it doesn’t mean that they ‘absolutely hate Mormons’.

Try working that one out within your head before you tell other folks about ‘hate’.

No, there’s definitely hate on this board. Legitimate hate for Mormons and most of you will spend the rest of your life trying to “prove” your Mormon family wrong in their religious beliefs. Why? Because you’re upset you spent a portion of your life believing in a religion that doesn’t have the “truth” you thought it had. You’re angry! You feel duped! You want to be right so bad you’re willing to sacrifice every relationship you have to be right. Good luck with that! Because you’re going to die disappointed, guaranteed.

How long have you been on this board? Can you not feel the resentment and pure hatred board members have toward Mormons? You’re not fooling me pancake!
