For me Binger is far more obtrusive and derailing than AM. Consider that he has started ten threads in as many days on the same exact topic! Like, every day instead of commenting on an existing thread he started about the Canadian protests, he just starts another thread. This has the intended effect of pushing down other legitimate threads that are far more likely to involve actual discussion.

Most forums I frequent have a rule in place that limits posters to creating three to five threads per week. I think that's probably sufficient for most posters here.

Good to know. I was beginning to think this was just my OCD getting the best of me. Some may notice I'll dig up threads from weeks or months ago just to add comments on the same topic as opposed to starting new threads.

I agree with Philo's point. It's why I haven't really read any of these jackasses' posts since the summer. They aren't worth the time to me, so I assume folks responding to them find great entertainment in doing so. I don't begrudge them that, but it is a bummer. The board would be better without the trolls, and the best way to get rid of them is to starve them of the attention they pitifully crave.

I suppose I look at it this way: if I see a mentally handicapped dude wondering the streets shouting obscenities, I don't walk up and try to reason with him. There is clearly something wrong there. I don't try to reason with fish or frogs, either. And I'm certainly not going to invite them over to my house to feed them. No, it's best to move on unless you're in the business of dealing with the mentally handicapped.

Since I ignore both of them, I couldn't say who is more disruptive based on what they post. They both spam the board like their frail egos depends on it.

What I will say, however, is that it seems binger is more disruptive in terms of the number of people that respond to him. It appears people find it easier to ignore AM than binger.

I've seen certain quoted posts by these jackasses that I was very tempted to mock, so I get why people do it, but it only makes the situation worse. It's their problem, not ours. Why should anyone expend any effort on people who aren't interested in conversation, only disruption?

Atlanticmike is NOT a 'fellow friend poster,' dantana. He is a troll whose only intent is to disrupt. It is absolutely clear, and Philo is absolutely correct in calling for his ousting.

I used the term fellow 'friend' posters in reference to you Marcus. Not Mike. If you and CP want to interact with Mike that is your business and I don't think Philo should be broad brushing people who hold out hope that they can reason with him as stupid. I tried and gave up. Because the way you guys are going about it hasn’t done one damn lick of good for nine months, has it? Your post explains perfectly what I’ve been telling you guys wont work on me! I’ve been 100% truthful and told you exactly how I operate. It’s all about respect! If I don’t get respect you don’t get respect. Maybe this will help you understand what you’re dealing with. I’ve lived my life with my back against the wall the whole time. I’ve had to fight my way through life and whenever I have to face a hard or difficult situation I double down. And while doubling down I use anger and fear to help guide me until I break through the other side. So what I’m tryin to tell you is, while you’re insulting me, I’m laughing at you and saying xxck you axxxole, and thinking of a way to insult you ten times better. I think what you guys aren’t understanding is, I’m not saying this to be cocky or act tough. I’m telling you exactly who I am! Exactly! I don’t climb walls to hide on the other side!
