Fav go to drink or food when you’re sick

Welch’s concord grape juice. For one of my daughters, her favorite is banana popsicles.

I guess it depends on what kind of sickness I have. If I have a cold, I'd probably enjoy some nice warm soup. For stomach virus, listen, to be honest I would try to drink water with Pedialyte powder in it, but I wouldn't want anything to eat at all because all I do is (TMI) toss my cookies and cry in the bathroom. I'm not even joking here. I'm famous for this and everyone in the family knows it. I haven't had flu in 22 years. No idea what I'd eat or drink...probably the Pedialyte powder in water.

Mountain sickness is another story. This last time I had it, I lost my appetite completely, forgot about the Pedialyte and ended up in the hospital for about 8-10 hours.

I’d like to place an order for one of your quesadillas for tomorrow. I think I’ll be ready for one by then.

Jersey Girl, I am having difficulty thinking of enjoying food while ill. Just simple is ok.

I am having difficulty not being curious about your mountain sickness. It might be too personal to ask about but was quite surprised thinking of hospitalization. I had not considered that a possibility outside of seriously high mountain climbing. My hiking may go from around 1000 ft where I live up to say 7500 ft in a day. Some discomfort from elevation is possible but a good night sleep at elevation takes care of it. I do remember a car trip across country where we went from Missouri boarder to top Berthoud pass Colorado in a day. I felt some panic from the sense of suffocating. Back into the car and heading down in elevation solved the problem.

I don't know what natural calm is, but the combo sounds soothing.

Weaps I looked it up and I think it's a mag supplement.

Green tea. My doctor recommends green tea for when I'm sick. My guess is that a bowl of pho would probably be of help for when I am not strong like buffalo.
