I am 100% cynical about US media, though, a position which is a very easy to defend for someone who lived in the middle east in the early 2010s and saw how that was covered in US media.
Is this an across the board position? Fox? CNN? NYPost? Newsmax? MSNBC? Etc.
A year or two ago we started a subscription to The Epoch Times. I’ve found that even though there is a conservative slant towards most things the journalistic standards seem to be second to none.
They do take a very hard stance towards communism. But that’s as it should be in my humble opinion.
Since you have attempted to psychologize me, I am obviously invited to do the same to you. It is natural to reduce other people to categories that we have in our minds because it makes them much easier to deal with.
