You know now. It was Richardson who pointed out the fan, accused him of saying the N word and threatening her safety.
Rachel Richardson pointed him out and told school officials that he repeatedly yelled the n-word at her and threatened her safety during the BYU-Duke women’s volleyball game on August 26.

It appears that Richardson's grandmother was attempting to use this race hoax in an effort to boost her Democratic campaign to become a judge in Fort Worth. That's just what we need in the judicial system, someone who believes in guilty until proven innocent.

Your source for this is just an assertion from Brietbart.

The "fan" was pointed out by the Duke assistant coach only because he confronted Richardson after the match.

As usual, Brietbart is lying to you.

As I said, we don't know and will probably never know for certainty if a racial slur was uttered from the stands. It doesn't change the fact that there are enough racists out there like you, that we should always be on alert and keep on our toes whenever you try to bring us back to the 50's. I mean this is really why you're so upset about all this.

It should also be conspicuous that the person who was ultimately accused by the coach, is the same "fan" who approached the officer during the game to ask him if there was a reason why he was standing in that section.

Bump for Ajax or Hawkeye or whatever sock puppet he’s allowed to abuse here.

Ajax, please do not post under more than one account in the same thread. Doing so is potentially misleading for folks who are not aware they are used by the same person.

Thanks.

Bump.

I guess ajax/hawkeye decided to take a break this week from Brietbart and go with something even more shady, project veritas.

From the Trib link Veritas embedded:
Richardson’s godmother, Pamplin, brings the situation to the attention of the masses when she tweets that Richardson “was called a n— every time she served.” (Richardson served eight times in all during the match, according to the official play-by-play.) The veracity of Pamplin’s claim is immediately questioned by some, who dig up prior questionable posts from her social media (now made private) in a bid to discredit her, and reference her candidacy for Tarant County (Texas) Criminal Court 5 Judge as a possible motive to present a fictional controversy
What were those questionable posts, Veritas?

Dunno. I'm not concerned with what some godmom who wasn't even there says happened. I'm going by the first hand account of the student who claimed to have heard a slur. She said it was only at the end of the game, not during "every time" she served. Godmom is likely engaging in hyperbole.

What I find curious is the fact that once the student police were called to the scene by the coaches, the one kid who approached the cop to ask if there was a problem turned out to be the same exact kid who was accused of saying it, and the same kid who approached the girl after the game.

After the match ends in a 3-1 BYU victory, the officer leaves the court and heads back to the referees’ locker room,
Perhaps Richardson was looking for an excuse for her poor performance on the court.

Well, I find it even more curious no one, and I mean no one else, came forward with either a verbal account or a video account, to include the black BYU students present. Remember, that gym is tiny and packing in 5,000 spectators would’ve made for an impossible scenario where one could easily scream those things repeatedly and not be identified.

Otoh, I find it curious why that spectator singled Richardson out. Not a good look.
