Re: Should I write Midgley's biography?
I would love to see a compedium of LDS apologists' online comments and discussions.
That is where their real selves lie, and it's largely hidden and unsearchable amongst the myriad online venues that they converse in. Preserving them in one place would be a huge effort but a valuable one.

Just be sure to cover why Dr. Scratch used to refer to him as the Emperor. My unconfirmed assumption was it had something to do with a Sith-type relationship with Darth Peterson.

Yes, do it. Don't forget the part about Gina Colvin and his continued anger over her blog page being left up year after year.
Also don't forget the times he's shown up on other LDS forums and had meltdowns because somebody dared to question him on something.
Also make sure to talk to Dr. Moore, seems like he has some real good information.

Indeed, I do have the ability to connect you with first hand recipients of Louis’s cruelty toward women and young women in his home ward - including slapping young women on the back and squeezing their hands to the point of yelps in pain, and insulting educated women who spoke up - going back to the 1980s.Gadianton wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 12:10 amYes, do it. Dr. Shades, if you do write the Midgley bio, I suggest you try to weave into it as much as you can about his involvement and interactions with other Mopes too.

Interesting is his attack on Fawn Brodie on her biography of Thomas Jefferson.

or his use of phrases such as "spit or swallow"?

I have recently received three Google Alerts that send me to a despicable message board, whose owner represents himself as Dr. Shades. Virtually every item that mentions me is false in most every possible way. And also filled with a strange and unhealthy and unnecessary hatred. What these alerts also indicate is that quite a few people spend a great deal of time going over and over what gets posted on this blog.
There are people who can't seem to spit or swallow when it comes to the Church of Jesus Christ...

Lois:” There are people who can't seem to spit or swallow when it comes to the Church of Jesus Christ.”
Lois, could you please clean up your language? There are many other descriptors that aren’t nearly as pornographic. Just a thought.

There's nothing pornographic about either spitting or swallowing, BAUT.

DP: “There is nothing pornographic about spitting or swallowing.”
If you truly believe that then be my guest to google “spitting or swallowing.”
I’m sure nothing inappropriate will pop up. Good luck!

I'm quite well aware of what you have in mind, but there is nothing intrinsically pornographic about spitting and swallowing.
