When Trump is convicted, will it be an occasion for Cathedral bells to ring or a revolution to start? You might say to yourself that Republicans are already revolting, but what if we have not seen anything yet? All those weapons stashed in backyard compounds equals a lot of firepower, and from reports, we cannot rely on the total loyalty of the military.

Would it be possible for Trump to serve his 2024 Presidential tenure at Allenwood Federal Penitentiary? Would the guards be granted immediate security clearance or would they also have to be sworn in as Secret Service agents?

I suppose this would answer the question of whether he could pardon himself of federal crimes. His Republican enablers could perhaps decertify his State convictions.

Shades, this has been mentioned in a number of stories regarding the January 6th incident, or was this another of your "observations"? I do not know what steps the military has taken, after acknowledging Trump's efforts to subvert it for his own purposes, but hopefully, a Republican uprising does not take them unaware.

After all his crimes, Al Capone was brought down by accountants at the IRS. After all his crimes, Donald Trump might be brought down by librarians at the National Archives.

I don't know why people are salivating over this as if it's going to happen within a year or something. He will drag out any proceeding for years until the day he literally dies or we die waiting for the results of any trial.

When brought in to actually testify, Trump's stock in trade is to plead the 5th, say he doesn't remember or that he didn't really know whomever it is he's being asked about. His testimonies are on youtube, you can see for yourself what he does.

Fast forward to some point in time and assume Trump is convicted of something and sent to prison. The Secret Service would have to go in with him unless Congress votes to remove his protection. The he's just another convict but would probably have a high level of protection.

Maybe solitary where no one would be there to listen to his ranting and BS.

Or they'll just confine him to Mar a Lago, so what's the difference?

Perhaps they could be assigned to La-Z-Boy recliners right outside Mr. Trump's suite, which could be redone in gold leaf. They could bypass the penitentiary cafeteria and personally deliver his favorite fast food.
