I have been kicking around the idea of possibly taking our board community into the overcrowded podcast/YouTube world. Yes, it is overcrowded, but I am dying of curiosity to see what would happen if we enjoyed the new light a different medium would shed on what we have going on here.

This is an excellent idea. I would love to listen to some podcasts/YouTube material from the posters here. Stem, Res, Shades, Marcus, Cam, Doubting, Dude and many, many others.

Since I've joined the forum, I've loved going through earlier topics because so much useful information can be discovered here. But I must admit that a lot of the posters are fairly dull. Kishkumen, I'm sorry, but you're not very entertaining. You'll need to add some of the more amusing posters like Doctor Cam, Veritas, unquestionably Binger and Atlantic Mike if you launch a YouTube channel covering subjects from this message board. I doubt I could endure an entire podcast while listening to posters like Dr. Shades, Marcus or Res.

Way ahead of you, Mitchell 1919. I want this to be a board podcast BECAUSE I would not want to rely on my own smidgeon of charisma. The idea works because other people here are so interesting, not because I suggested it.

I do think it’s important to have someone playing devils advocate for the church. Otherwise it’s just a giant echo chamber.

Glen Ostlund was always a great TBM whisperer.

On occasion I try to stick up for the LDS Church and apologists somewhat. But I think you are right that KevinSim and others like him would add necessary balance.

Having Dr. Scratch on the show is a no-brainer, but since he personally and professionally knows DCP and most Mopologists, that probably can't happen.

Maybe you could alter Dr. Scratch's voice and just show his shadow?

What a great idea! Maybe we could entice people like Blixa, Runtu or Darth J to come back and talk about their experiences here.

I also would suggest doing segments on Grindael.

Also it would be fun to do a "Truth or Consequence" bit segment with three contestants pretending to be famous past sock puppets.
"Will the real "Bob Boberson please stand up!" sort of thing.

You could do a Jeopardy parody with forum members competing to see who could do their best mopologetic DP, Wade England or Bill Hamblin impersonation.
