Why do Republicans Hate Jesus?

Post by Vēritās »

I mean seriously. They mock him by pretending to be his followers and yet they continually prioritize "sticking it to the Libs" over following anything he actually taught.

Today is his birthday supposedly, and this is how they celebrate?

50+ migrants were dumped outside Kamala Harris' residence in freezing temperatures.

Coming from anyone else but you that might merit consideration. When you've sold everything and given it the poor and went out without purse or scrip, I'll consider doing so as well. Jesus asks us to give of our property of our own free will. Communists like yourself seek to strip the private property rights of working people through the force of a tyrannical majority.

Veritas is there any limit to tax rates? Even child support cannot be over half a man's income. Is there any limit to the rate of immigration you would set? No, because to you, you can always keep raising taxes to provide the entire world a comfortable living on the back of the US taxpayer. Communism has failed everywhere it has ever been tried. It will fail in the US as well. But that never seems to stop people from making the same mistske over and over again.
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

That is a lame "what about" excuse because you don't just not follow everything he says to do, you quite literally do the opposite of what he says to do. I'm not the purported Christian nor do I flaunt my life as one dedicated to his values. You hypocrites on the Right are doing that shamelessly. Christ said be hot or cold, lukewarm will be spat out. You only follow him to the extent that you think it jives with whatever the Neo-Nazis at Brietbart are telling you is acceptable.

Typical idiotic assertion based on zero evidence, but asserted for the sole purpose of derailing away from the indisputable fact that you and your ilk are shameless hypocrites whose political views run contrary to the God you pretend to follow and emulate.

Yes, there is, not that this has anything to do with the fact that you're shamelessly mocking the teachings of your Lord. But for you folks there is never a limit to how much you want to cut taxes for the rich. Right now you're literally trying to murder immigrants by lying to them about trying to help them while stranding them in freezing temperatures.

There are already limits which is why the vast majority of these folks are being sent back. But you want none, because as you've recently demonstrated to us all, your Nazi tendencies Trump any sense of humanity that may linger in that thing you call a soul.

Communism has nothing to do with following Christ and loving your neighbor. Or maybe it does, and that's why you hate it so much?

In any event, it would be great if you'd someday realize how dumb you sound with all these irrelevant talking points about communism.

Can you fill in the details that have you seeing immigration or taxes as the gateway to communism? It would appear that there are some steps missing.

Wonder what the US of A would be today had the original 13 Colonies refused to allow immigration. Gee, wonder what the "limits" were back then? Trump's claim that we have no more room is just downright idiotic. We have more than enough room, and we're still experiencing a massive labor shortage. So why are Republicans so terrified of immigrants from the South?

Are all Republicans really this ignorant of history or does it just seem like it? This reminds me of Republicans today whining about Zelensky having the nerve to ask for help when his country is under attack, not knowing that it was Benjamin Franklin who sailed to France to beg for help. Without the French, we likely wouldn't have won the Revolutionary War.

That question about taxes is used all the time as some kind of "gotcha" question when in reality Democrats have answered it many times. But Republicans never seem to be able to answer the converse: How low should taxes be? Because they can never answer it honestly. Whenever an incoming Republican administration slashes taxes, the next Republican administration wants to slash them even more. Its like that's literally all they have to run on. Cutting taxes and white supremacy. The Bush tax cuts gave us record low taxes and the Trump came along and did the same thing, and when you point out to them the fact that this is creating massive debt, they blame government spending and social security.

I agree with you that pure communism has largely failed everywhere it as been tried, but that is not what progressive Democrats are proposing. Democratic socialism, which is what progressives like Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are proposing is proven to work quite well where it has been tried in all of the countries that rank in the top ten for standard of living. All of those countries also have better, more comprehensive and more affordable health care than we do.

The USA used to take pride in having the world's highest standard of living. We now rank in the 17th place!

So please stop repeating this demonstrably false claim that Democratic socialism, which is what progressive Democrats advocate, will only lead to communism, despotism and poverty! Right now, because of Trump and the MAGA crowd of hard right conservative Republicans, we are in considerably greater danger of devolving into despotism than any of the top ten Democratic socialistic nations listed in the link above!
No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.
