Psych Today is not science.
No, most people don't eventually lower their standards. Often, as we get older and stumble through a few bad relationships, our standards get a lot higher.

1) It's not a study, it's an editorial. The clue is right at the top, where it says, "This editorial..." Your relationship with science is just as fraught as your relationship with women.
What makes you think that I don't know what a research study is? Doesn't the editorial refer to a lot of studies?
It's a small mistake, it's no big deal. I should've said paper.
It's not a small mistake, and it's one you frequently make. I point it out because your tendency to do so erodes your credibility.

Saying that women in Europe, Utah, or Latin America are nicer is sexist?
Yeah. If you said that
people in those places are nicer, you might still be wrong, but at least you wouldn't be sexist.

I am not saying that men are entitled to sex with a specific person. There's no need to redefine the words.
Asking what you mean by 'nice' in this context is not redefining the word.
Men are not
entitled to have sex [with another person]. Full stop. Women are not
entitled to have sex [with another person]. Full stop. Aspirations are not entitlements.
