The closest equivalent would be Scientology continuing to charge for audits but refusing to remove any Thetans.
With TV ministries, you just know their requests for money have been broadcast even if your cable is down.

Well done, then!!! I am very glad you did. You are a happy person, and your happiness is infectious. It is a gift you have, and I am glad to know of it. You have lifted my spirits many times. Thank you.Philo Sofee wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 1:00 amThat does my heart good you enjoyed it so much! It just popped into my head so I typed it out.Marcus wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2023 10:11 pm
Philo, I have been laughing over this nonstop since I read it. I don’t know if it was autocorrect or all you, but in my opinion, this is the single best description of the Interpreter process since it was called the Playground Peer Review.
Amen. That is the perfect description of Philo. And the new term he coined is perfection.Marcus wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 2:54 pmWell done, then!!! I am very glad you did. Peerless Review at the Interpreter. It says so much!![]()
just to clarify, this is daniel C. Peterson, advertising an entry on Mike Parker's blog. Both peterson and parker have perpetuated the story that parker's blog is written by richard nygren, an imaginary black LDS apologist.By the way and on a quite distinct topic, here’s a new entry on the Neville-Neville Land blog that puts me in mind of Lewis Carroll’s Through the Looking-Glass and What Alice Found There: “Rian Nelson posts antisemitic comments; Jonathan Neville blames Daniel Peterson for pointing this out”

You must be talking about Mike Parker who currently teaches an adult LDS religion class in the Hurricane, Utah area who posts anonymous vitriolic hit pieces against fellow Latter-day Saints? Yikes.Marcus wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 5:16 pmjust to clarify, this is daniel C. Peterson, advertising an entry on Mike Parker's blog. I’ve seen an entry on Peterson’s blog where he said that Boylen said that Peter Pan was Nygren, that Peterson had not been able to find Nygren, but he hoped he was real. Do we have any instance of Peterson starting or implying that Nygren is Peter Pan?Marcus wrote: ↑Fri Mar 10, 2023 5:16 pmjust to clarify, this is daniel C. Stephen Smoot: "P.S., my understanding from listening to Robert Boylan's interview with Spencer Kraus is that "Peter Pan" is some fellow down in Alabama named Richard Nygren. But whoever this Mr. Nygren may be I cannot say. I have never met him, nor have I ever corresponded with him online."
I've never so much as heard of him. I briefly looked for him online, but found nothing. I'd like to think that he exists, though.
My bet is that he's one of my multiple personalities, just as you are.
https://www.patheos.com/blogs/danpeters ... 5928642929So? Peterson was contacted a few months ago by the actual blogger, but 2 hours ago says he has "never so much as heard of him"?They think that it’s Steve Smoot — who is something of an obsession with my very obsessive anonymous Malevolent Stalker — or that it’s Dan Peterson, or that it’s Steve Smoot at the direction of Dan Peterson. Actually, it’s none of those. (I myself learned only a few months ago who it is, because s/he told me; until then I was almost as much in the dark on the subject as my Stalker is.)

Sure, DCP. Sure.

In April 2021, Peterson wrote:In May 2021, Peterson wrote:Incidentally too, although I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that the estimable “Peter Pan” is somebody with whom I’m acquainted, I don’t know his (or her) identity, and I have absolutely no connection with the Neville-Neville Land blog.“Peter Pan,” the principal figure behind the valuable Neville-Neville Land blog — whose identity I do not know, although I wouldn’t be surprised if s/he were someone with whom I’m acquainted — contacted me by email late last night to tell me that Mr. Jonathan Neville has posted an entry about the film on one of his approximately 3,437 blogs.
In September 2021, Peterson wrote:What are we to conclude here?Incidentally, the person behind the Neville-Neville Land blog recently identified himself/herself to me. As I had suspected, it was someone that I knew. But I hadn’t known who it was. I’m grateful for his/her service.
