God Will Prevail. Author: Kerry Muhlestein. On page twenty four. I’ve been sidetracked reading Fairytale by Stephen King. Par for the course. But I’m moving through Muhlestein’s book slowly but surely. As I’ve mentioned I typically have a stack of books that I’m reading concurrently.
Thanks for your interest in my reading habits.
Also reading Zane Grey: The Great Trek. Lots of books out there!
The perception that I don’t actually read the material that I reference to is completely over blown. I guess with the intent to make me look inferior to the folks here who are so well read.
I get sidetracked by podcasts also. Just listened to Michael Shermer’s latest.
What do you have in your wallet?

MG
I just picked up King's Fairy Tale myself. How are you enjoying it, so far?
I’d never read a Stephen King novel before. My brother recommended this one. I’m having fun reading it thus far. In fact, it’s a library book and I need to get it finished before the due date. I jumped in here to start a thread. I need to jump out and finish it!
Now it’s Doc’s turn to jump in and make an accusation that I’m not actually reading it…
He’s very predictable. A troll, of sorts.
Anyway, thanks for asking! I hope you enjoy reading it.

What can you expect when you do confront a narcissist? Generally, they will resort to narcissistic rage (explosive or passive-aggressive) or denial.
He or she may become enraged, deny everything, call you a liar, twist reality, blame you and then play the victim.

Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence, they are not sure of their self-worth and are easily upset by the slightest criticism.
A narcissistic personality disorder causes problems in many areas of life, such as relationships, work, school or financial matters. People with narcissistic personality disorder may be generally unhappy and disappointed when they're not given the special favors or admiration that they believe they deserve. They may find their relationships troubled and unfulfilling, and other people may not enjoy being around them.
This isn’t me.
I’m sticking with every word that I said to you. I’ll add one more. Disgusting.
Please refrain from continuing your provocative troll like behavior on this thread.
Thanks in advance.
You may have the last word as I’m sure you will.
As is the case with many threads that go to die, it is the result of folks like Doc who’s sole purpose is to search and destroy.
Done here unless the thread revives on its own merits.

You haven't yet said what you think about King's book that you're reading. How do you like it so far?

Upthread I said: “ I’m having fun reading it thus far.” And some other stuff.

okay, got it. Another title from another pile. good thing it has a library due date, right? given you've never read a stephen king novel i was a little surprised your brother recommended it because its a little outside King's usual style, in my opinion, so i was interested in your reaction to it.

MG’s book review:
“I’m having fun.”, and, “I have to return it to the library.”

It’s a good read so far. Charlie is in the city and has put Rades on the sundial. BUT, in order to not give anything away I will let you read to that point if you’d not already there. I’ve not read yet who is the source of the curse on the unfortunately individuals in “this unlucky land” as Charlie calls it.
So far it’s kind of a classic good and evil pattern, but we’ll see where it goes. Let me know what you think.
This is totally off topic, however. You may want to shoot me a private message at some juncture if you would like to continue discussing the book.
I’d like to keep this thread on covenants if anyone has anything else to add.
