There's a lot more deplorables than just me. Since we're so worthless and since as a centrist liberal you're so magnanimous and willing to compromise, your people go to the left, mine will go to the right. We have irreconcilable differences, but that doesn't have to mean that we need a war to resolve this.

You know we haven't had a viable conservative party active in US national politics since before Trump was elected, having been replaced with contrarian populism and nationalism, right? The economics of douchebagistan (thanks, Cam) are built on misdirection and scapegoating while bloating the national debt. It's become almost entirely a ploy to go after regulations that protect the public sphere to the benefit of a privileged minority who resent government mostly for looking out for a common interest when it comes to everything from price gouging to insider trading to environmental degragation, to...well, anything the can be exploited for personal gain at the expense of society.

Why not just have a national divorce.

Because rightwing propoganda only works on dopes who are easily sold crap ideas by hucksters who stroke their egos.

So you're not allowing us to secede out of your own altruistic feelings for the deplorables you curse and despise. Can you understand why we might be skeptical of that? My prayer is that the democratic socialist can get together and implement their policies while those who believe capitalism is the better system can segregate and implement their policies. Then we can see which works better. Just maybe both groups of people of opposing ideologies will be happier than they are now? Do you think that's impossibe?

I generally don't believe in divorce but sometimes it really is in the best interests of everyone.

You pretty much summed up Ajax’s politics above and in your prior post. He’s simply a populist who’ll forsake his own ethos (he once said he’d make divorce illegal, but now we see he’ll make divorce legal if it suits him) to punish whomever he views in opposition to his whims.

This, of course, can be traced back to the Fox Entertainment cancer that came in about '96, and took just a few years to become terminal. Limbaugh in the 90’s, too. Their carefully crafted messaging disguised as news converted people that used to vote for their economic interests into people that voted against manufactured fears. Ajax, despite us laying out in detail how a national divorce would destroy his way of life, just repeats himself because he lives in a fantasy world where Whites-in-control create utopias, and since he’s White he’d benefit from that privileged status. Sure, some minorities would be a part of his world, but they’d be ‘separate but equal’, so who knows what that looks like for non-Whites.
