That's the problem with this supernatural stuff, it doesn't really solve anything. It's a placeholder for ignorance.

Not only have I denounced the Big Lie, I have denounced the Big lie big lie.

Sometimes I wonder if it even rises to this level of sophistication.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 5:36 pmYou pretty much summed up Ajax’s politics above and in your prior post. He’s simply a populist who’ll forsake his own ethos (he once said he’d make divorce illegal, but now we see he’ll make divorce legal if it suits him) to punish whomever he views in opposition to his whims.honorentheos wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 4:48 pmAjax, you are demanding something you don't understand at fundamental levels. There isn't a binary, that is a projection of propoganda.
This, of course, can be traced back to the Fox Entertainment cancer that came in about '96, and took just a few years to become terminal. Limbaugh in the 90’s, too. Their carefully crafted messaging disguised as news converted people that used to vote for their economic interests into people that voted against manufactured fears. Ajax, despite us laying out in detail how a national divorce would destroy his way of life, just repeats himself because he lives in a fantasy world where Whites-in-control create utopias, and since he’s White he’d benefit from that privileged status. Sure, some minorities would be a part of his world, but they’d be ‘separate but equal’, so who knows what that looks like for non-Whites.

You are absolutely free to leave the country and denounce your citizenship if that is what you think will solve your concerns. But your statement shows you continue to misunderstand the point. There is no binary division. This isn't a statement based in reality but rather a fantasy meant to manipulate folks. Try being skeptical of the strings tugging on you and see where they lead.
Case in point. Who do you imagine among politicians stands where on this particular claim? My prayer is that the democratic socialist can get together and implement their policies while those who believe capitalism is the better system can segregate and implement their policies.

Nobody should have to stay in an abusive marriage. That's kind of what we have as a country. And an honorable judge doesn't just tell an abused spouse, you're free to leave anytime you want but only if he gets to keep everything you helped earn over the past 200 years. At a family law level that would be considered barbaric and inhumane and yet somehow it's perfectly acceptable in politics.honorentheos wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 2:03 amYou are absolutely free to leave the country and denounce your citizenship if that is what you think will solve your concerns. And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

Come on, ajax. You've had this poison dripping in your ears for a long time now. Surely you can move past the rhetoric and get specific?

The only person I've heard say this is Marjorie Taylor Green. I've seen movements and petitions in Texas to secede from the Union. One thing I know is that fiscally conservative policy will never return in the United States.

Emphasis added. In your estimation, when was the last time the US adhered to what you would consider fiscally conservative policy?

Ah. It's more fundamental than this, ajax. I was hoping you could sort out where the persons land on the spectrum of free market capitalism to socialism? Here, I'll help. Add names and assign numbers to folks as you think applies according to this 1-5 list
1: Believes the entire economy should be state owned and operated.
2: Believes the government should manage the majority of the economy with some exceptions.
3: Believes a mixed system of competitive markets with regulatory oversight and publicly funded services where there is a public interest is best.
4: Believes a mixed system of competitive markets with only a minimum of regulatory oversight to protect public safety is best.
5: Believes in unrestrained, laissez-faire capitalism with no regulation or interference.

Before Roosevelt's New Deal. I'd recommend Mark Levin's book, American Marxism.Bret Ripley wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2023 3:35 pmEmphasis added. In your estimation, when was the last time the US adhered to what you would consider fiscally conservative policy?
Kamala Harris explains the left's view of equality vs. equity very well. She basically believes that we only have achieved equity when the government equalizes the starting point of each child in capital. Not only is that impossible, that's about as close to Marx and communism as it gets. In France they used the bourgeoise as the scapegoat during their communist revolution. In America we're using native born WASP men who can't check off any of the boxes to be part of the intersectional leftist coalition. Notice enemies of the state aren't targeted based on poverty or wealth but only by race, gender, sexual orientation, and above all political affiliation. Communism has failed everywhere it has been tried. Seeing that my country will fall victim to this ideology based on voting patterns, I'd like to separate off and continue with capitalism. No capitalism isn't perfect but to me it gets far better results in this world.
