Thankfully, there are plenty of adults posting here who have matured well past the level of this nonsense.

People predicted the demise of this message board within a month of the founding of its original version way back in late summer of 2005 or so. 18 years later and it's still moving along just fine, so forgive me if I don't start to panic just yet.

In case you don't know already, I appreciate you and I have really enjoyed participating on your free speech board for a very long time (Thank you) - But, I am not convinced that you really believe that this board is "moving along just fine."

In that case, convince yourself. Just because people are disagreeing with you (however stridently) in the Spirit Paradise forum doesn't mean there's anything inherently wrong with the board itself.

I’m curious what you think has gone wrong with the board.

I'm not comfortable expressing my entire thoughts. One of the reasons that I am hesitant (a big one to me) is how fond I am of the person who created this board. I like him quite a bit and I have enjoyed his board for many years. I think he has been very fair to all members spanning many years. What made this board the best one I have ever participated on (I have been on more than a few before I found this one) was two basic but critical ideas: Free speech and all are welcome here (meaning everyone has place to voice their thoughts and opinions).

That's all I am willing to say in a public post.
