Perhaps a Moroni's Saloon-style temple would fit in.

And here I was kinda hoping they'd adopt the aesthetic of Cody's most famous native son.

I didn't know Larry Echo Hawk was an abstract expressionist.

And guess where this Mormon Bishop went?
Todd Christensen, a bishop of a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints ward in Cody, said the message clearly is anti-church, not about building codes.

“I’m pretty sure when they say, ‘not in my neighborhood,’ the same argument has also been extended to ‘not in my town’ and in some instances ‘not in my county,’” he said. “At some point you have to put your foot down and say that’s not right.”

He believes it no different than if someone was trying to argue against Black children being allowed to attend school in their area or members of other religions from being allowed to live somewhere.

“That’s like saying, ‘It’s not about race, but I just don’t want colored kids to go to our school.’ ‘We like Jews but they should just go somewhere else,’” he said.

That's unreal. They go before a zoning board to ask for an exemption, and when they don't quickly get what they want (which is to be allowed to not have to follow the zoning requirements) Christensen says it is equivalent to racial discrimination.

The Church is now suing the city…
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is suing a Wyoming city after it voted to approve plans for a new temple — and then decided that vote didn’t count, rejecting the plans.

The Cowboy State Daily reported that on June 15, five members of the seven-person Cody Planning and Zoning Board met to consider the proposal for the temple, which the church plans to build on a 4.69 acre site overlooking the city of about 10,000. The board voted 3-1 to approve, with one abstention.

But board chairman Carson Rowley then ruled that the motion had failed because it had not been supported by a majority of all seven board members, including the two who did not attend the meeting.

That, the church argued in a lawsuit filed on Monday in Park County District Court, violated the board’s own rules.

Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

It’s a real David vs Goliath story. The church doesn’t even have a trillion dollars yet.

How many billion dollar churches have to get kicked around before we start protecting their rights?

Todd should definitely be in the Hall of Fame. RIP.
