Popehat wrote a nice piece about all the chaff being thrown out by Trump and other Republicans, as well as flat out lies from organizations like the National Review.

Trump has taught the Republican party and the right-wing media to be compulsive liars.

Trump has asked the Supreme Court to intervene. Justice Thomas wants a trip to the Spiral Buffet in Manilla included with that decision. Justice Kavanaugh looked up and added, "two cases of beer."

So the ball is in the dark money donors' court.

The GOP are crooked and don't care. Goebbels said if you tell a lie often enough people will believe it. USA don't say you are an example to the world of how a democracy is run. Your system is a joke.

BYU-Idaho scientists point out, “Trump doesn’t have the ridges that characterize the skull shape of a criminal.”

The judge overseeing former President Trump's classified documents case on Monday rebuked federal prosecutors and struck two of their filings.

Driving the news: Florida District Judge Aileen Cannon, a Trump appointee, also demanded an explanation of "the legal propriety of using an out-of-district grand jury proceeding to continue to investigate and/or to seek post-indictment hearings on matters pertinent to the instant indicted matter in this district."

I was all for Justice Thomas. Okay, he didn't ask questions. I would say that is okay. But recently the media disclosed gifts and he received gifts from Billionaires and I thought, Okay, that's an appearance of impropriety. I would say at least he didn't hear cases that the Billionaire brought before the court. Again, I'm proved wrong. The Billionaire did bring cases before the court on which he sat. They need a rule. You live on the salary that you are given. Anyone approaches you with a gift it needs to be reported and investigated by what ever law enforcement agency they assign. No one in the legislature, executive branch or the Supreme Court should ever except anything except what they are able to buy with their salary. It's that bad in 2023.

Buying a motorhome for Thomas is an alternative to giving him envelopes full of cash. The Supreme Court might see itself as entitled to accept such gifts.

The federal courts need to slap down Donald Trump big time for running attack ads against judges, special prosecutors, or District Attorneys in cases involving him. The justice system needs protection from Trump's crazed bully pulpit in order to do its job of serving the public.

I would want the same protection to be in place against Al Capone, especially if he was attacking Eliot Ness.
