What is it that would meet your requirements for evidence?

For myself, I already mentioned one thing: verifiable physical evidence the peoples described in the Book of Mormon actually existed, a proverbial "Welcome to Zarahemla" sign. This probably wouldn't resolve all the issues surrounding the plates, but it would certainly make the stories more believable.
Or produce the plates so they can be scientifically tested.
No there isn't. If you want to make statements like that you need to provide the evidence, keeping in mind there is an accepted definition of the word "evidence" that does not include faith-based assumptions.
Earlier I asked you this question along with some other questions which remain unanswered:
Besides what we have in the historical record…references to the plates, protecting the plates, witness accounts of the plates…and the resulting product…what would be acceptable to you as factual evidence that the plates existed? After all, they are not available for your perusal.
What is it that would meet your requirements for evidence?

Actual, factual and credible evidence that plates existed on which was recorded a historical document, or even any ancient document. The Mormon story of the Book of Mormon fails on every level at providing that actual, factual and credible evidence.
Evidence for that does not exist, as has been repeatedly shown.

OK. We’re getting closer. What would that factual and credible evidence look like?

Lol.
It would look like "actual, factual and credible evidence."

What would be that scenario?

I don't understand what you are trying to ask here. Please restate.

In reference to the plates specifically, how would you expect that evidence to come about? And what would be the ramifications of that scenario?

I have no particular expectation nor would I particularly care how the plates were produced. If they stood up to scientific examination, how they were produced largely becomes irrelevant anyway.

Lol.
That’s a non answer...
No it's not. You are asking other people to imagine what your evidence should look like in order to be credible. To what end? Here in the real world, such imaginary hypotheticals are meaningless.
Bottom line, is there any "actual, factual and credible evidence" for the historicity of the Book of Mormon and the gold plates it supposedly came from?
