Why? How is being from [New?] Jersey any different from being from anywhere else?_Jersey Girl wrote: ↑Sun Feb 21, 2016 6:26 amYou just better hope to hell she's not from Jersey, buddy.

Assuming he was telling the truth. It sounded like he was just trying to excuse himself. Did anyone corroborate his words?lynnrobertstevens wrote: ↑Thu Sep 28, 2023 5:20 pmA very important investigative concern is being ignored in the accusations against LDS General Authority Lynn Mickelsen. Re: Current GA Being Accused of Child Abuse; the 12 Ignore It
I'm working from memory, but I think there's an extremely long thread that tries to untangle this mess. I know that I went through lots of documents and compared them with claims by the father and concluded that he was not truthful in many, many of his claims. What I can't recall is whether we know exactly what the GA grandfather said or whether it was filtered through and spun by the parents. I do recall that the father worked very hard to influence the children to accept his view of what went on.Marcus wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 2:00 pmAssuming he was telling the truth. The more detailed thread should be dated right around the same time as this one.

Thanks Doc, that's it. I skimmed the last few pages to refresh me recollection. The only person who claimed that the grandfather said anything about the child being promiscuous was the father, who proved to be a highly unreliably narrator. He alleged it happened in a phone call that he was not a party to, and his recollection was years after the call itself. I don't think there is any reason to believe the grandfather made the statement alleged by the father.Doctor CamNC4Me wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 5:00 pmThis one?Res Ipsa wrote: ↑Mon Oct 02, 2023 3:28 pm
