I saw a video of an Israeli officer beating the everliving crap out of a Palestinian kid. So I spent some time googling videos of Israelis beating Palestinian children and was, of course, unsurprised to find so many documented instances.

If the roles were reversed, wouldn’t choruses of outraged voices be calling for justice? Our collective moral compass is off.

Have there been any such incidents involving Palestinian's beating Israeli children?

No they usually just cut their heads off, while the innocent Palestinian civilians shout "Alahu Akbhar!"

I don't understand why it is so hard for both sides figure out that they both would be better off and happier if they could bring themselves to stop this insane mutual hatred for each other and work together for the benefit of both. And I don't understand why anyone would wish for the "Two State Solution." I can't help but believe that a "One State Solution" with both sides respecting each other as equals and learning from each other ought to be the ultimate goal.
You don't understand because you believe that all cultures are morally equal. You think that the Palestinians don't really want to exterminate the Jews but that rather they just want some land or some money. These are lies.

When did the West ever try to create a moral equivalence for the Holocaust by saying, "Well you know the Jews aren't native to Europe and they did cheat a lot of people in business."
And when the Confederates saw Jackson standing fearless like a stonewall, the army of Northern Virginia took courage and drove the federal army off their land.

I can’t find any, however some of those Palestinian children have been co-opted by Hamas to attack Jewish Settlers, which is a euphemism for ‘Settlers who break the law with impunity’. Have some children killed and wounded some illegal Jewish immigrants/land squatters? Some have. My question for Xanax is, are those children like unto the Confederates who fought for their freedom and the right to self-governance or nah?

Hamas literally pays its citizens a monthly stipend for each Jew they kill.

This is probably another lie, and doesn't even make any sense. Palestinians aren't "citizens" and they have no rights. If Jewish settlers were in danger of being killed by Palestinians they why would they move there illegally to the West Bank to begin with? They move there because the IDF is there not only to protect them, but also to subjugate the existing Palestinian population.

Meanwhile, the IDF and Jewish settlers will just randomly murder Palestinians for free. They even kill their own according to the Hannibal Directive . And they've likely killed some of the hostages with their relentless bombing, pretending they're targeting areas where they "know" Hamas is. Today's Israeli government is nothing short of evil.

All the confederates ever asked for was a two state solution. Hamas will accept nothing less than the destruction of Israel and death to all Jews. And they'll never stop attacking Israel until they acheive it. Whereas the Confederates abided by the terms of the peace treaty and General Lee said that guerilla/terrorist campaigns were dishonorable.

Have some children killed and wounded some illegal [Mexican] immigrants/land squatters?

Isn't it racist to call an immigrant illegal or a land squatter? What happened to the "no human being is illegal" garbage that you preach?

I don’t preach that you facile turd bird. Example #345,876 of Ajax not reading. It’s all just skimming for Big Baby Boomer.

This is what it’s like to interact with the board’s ‘totally not a white supremacist’. He never answers questions, and he thinks he’s clever for doing so. And he then uses the ‘dialogue’ as a chance to move the goal posts around. Like, all over the place. It’s rhetoric and larping.

Thanks for everybody’s thoughts. All great. A great area if one loves history.

For someone born in another country in the Middle East and then moving to the Jerusalem area and calling it Palestine and that he is a Palestinian one doesn’t need to go very far. Yasser Arafat could be used as an example as he was born in Egypt and the whole issue of pushing Palestine would make him very rich. Why the Mossad and Shin Bet allowed him to go on for as long he did and push his message is very interesting.

Gaza also has a long history; what’s going on today has me very concerned.

I remember seeing a picture of soldiers of the British Empire on the ground in Gaza in 1917 shooting at soldiers from the Ottoman Empire.

I’m sure the Greeks and and Romans fought in Gaza saying the area was theirs.

The sad thing is that Gaza could look like Beruit of the 1950s and 1960s and Tel Aviv today but those in power are more concerned pushing their religion.

We have also seen in the last few days what happens in the area when there is no law or due process during this “pause” ; see in Gaza what happens to those hinted at being spies for Israel. They are immediately hanged and then their bodies are dragged through the alleys.
