Dear Mr. Richards,

I am writing to tell you that the song vote needs to be changed. Here are the options:

Far Away Eyes
Dead Flowers
Let it Bleed
Sweet Virginia

What? :o I want three of those. How is that even fair to me?

And another thing! Why are they all songs with a country flavor? Why? Not one good blues tune on the list! :o

And yet, it does not escape my attention that they are ALL songs you sing back up on which is a decided plus in your favor and may lighten the absolute horror of having to choose.

So the task before me is to choose ONE (!) of the following: Far Away Eyes, Dead Flowers, and Sweet Virginia because Let It Bleed is just cruddy and everyone knows it.

Okay. Okay. If I really have to...it's a toss up between Flowers and Virginia.

I don't like this, Keith. I don't like this at all. Stop. it.

Oh and by the way, don't forget I'll be at the merch stands during the opening act.

You know what to do. ;)

Okay, Keith. Lean in.

Dead Flowers it is. But I'm telling you, you and Ronnie need to be guitar weaving like it's your job. Just make sure Beast is on the setlist. And don't forget the Dylan. Seriously.

P.S. Merch stands. 8-ish o'clock. ;)

John Fogerty

As John Fogerty is mentioned I will link this curious recording. He stayed in Troy Oregon for some time. It is an out of the way location ,very small population, on the Grand Rhonde river on the edge of a lesser known wilderness area. John enjoyed doing performances at the local bar. that is the biggest thing in town. well not quite a town.

I live about fifty miles from this location but it is a three hour plus drive to get there. My brother told me about the performances well after the time. I had not heard of them. They were the opposite of big commercial productions.
