You get let into the venue 30 minutes before non-VIP ticket holders, you get a meet-and-greet with the band members after the show, you get a photo taken of you surrounded by all the band members (then the photo is given to you), and you get some exclusive merchandise, which I think is a T-shirt and maybe one or two other things.
That's fan-tastic! I'd say that's well worth the cost of the upgrade. Does Perfume have an offer like that?

Closer to the stage? Nope. It was long before they started playing stadiums in Asbury Park Convention Hall. I'll post a short video of the exact concert on my Hackney Diamonds thread. We were close enough to see the band and what they were wearing.
