The party of Trump is not voting for Trump because he is a sharp, capable leader. I am not sure there are many people who care more than Never Trumpers whether he is competent to lead the country. The only people who seem to care about competence are the ones not supporting a particular candidate. They only care about competence as a weapon to deny someone an office.
