Secret Service agents rushed former President Donald Trump off the stage after he fell to the ground at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Loud bangs were heard before Trump fell. Agents then helped him stand, and he had blood on his face. He was yelling back to the crowd and raised his fist. He was then taken to a vehicle and evacuated from the scene.

Confession: The word "assholes" came out of my mouth more times than I could count in the last 20 minutes or so and that word isn't a "go to" for me at all.

No love lost in me for Trump but this crap is outrageous.

Now the commentators are saying that rally security is good but sometimes bad people get in.

Get in? Do they think the shots were fired from WITHIN the rally?

Okay the Boy is making more sense than me. I thought the shooter would logically be coming from outside the crowd at long range but...the Boy counted 10 shots he could hear. If it were outside the crowd I doubt you'd be able to hear the shots so...pistol?

I saw a video and it looked like Trump was looking to his right and down when the shots were fired. It’ll be interesting to see who the shooter is.

Obviously I hope he’s arrested, prosecuted, and spends the rest of his life in prison.

It's being played on repeat over here, trust me. The Boy is pretty good at counting shots so we'll see how that goes. There's some chatter that the shooter and a rally goer have died. I still don't see that on major news so--grain of salt for right now. Social media is a plague sometimes.
