All political division aside, the use of violence should be unequivocally condemned. Not a great day for democracy and as much as I don't want him to become president I am glad Trump was not killed. It sounds like he may have avoided serious injury as well.

My deep condolences to the families of the audience member who was killed and those also affected by what they saw or what happened to those they love.

I wish the result would be a moment of reflection by both the Biden and Trump campaigns, and they unite on message against the use of violence.
