We got through a long car ride with the 2 year old. Towards the end she was screaming about something that could wait and we let her cry it out. She was able to deal with the emotions and self soothe, she’s a really remarkable little girl. She makes the “terrible twos” not so terrible.

Bless. I wasn't very good at letting kids cry it out. I realise now that it's probably good for kids to learn to resolve things. We have a long train journey tomorrow... 4 hours. Got the screens on charge and the bubble gum ready.drumdude wrote: ↑Fri Aug 23, 2024 8:55 pmWe got through a long car ride with the 2 year old. Kids have had a blast of a day, they've foraged for elderberries, collected firewood, build fires, climbed, fed animals, told stories around the fire, did some nature magic role play which included making the fire actually have coloured flames (a bag of metal filings designed for that purpose) and now one of them is playing drums by the fire, the other is fast asleep. The trains were the worst but positive only... The afternoon has been so good that I totally forgot how bad the train journey was until now. Looking forward to hearing nature tomorrow.

We’re in a room next to a lovely Brazilian family with a rather loud toddler. Can hear pretty much everything through the connecting door. He slept quietly through the night. Thank God for small blessings!

My fussy eater kid has discovered he likes smoked salmon. It's very exciting when he finds new foods that he will happily eat, especially healthy ones. I personally couldn't eat salmon but pleased for him.

My little lady is playing computer games with some serious focus. Yesterday was the first time I have seen her playing PC games on her own. She looks so intense. Think she might be good at it lol.

Once upon a time, Francesca a.k.a. the princess type person who played a friend of the friend of God on TV told a fun story about her crazy mother and her gift of a trampoline.

Said story is told in the top video at the media type link.https://slogbog.com/viewtopic.php?p=2724&hilit=Pressmedia#p2724 wrote:

There are some links about another amazing anomaly magnificently manifested via 384 and Mike’s gargoyl experience.
Francesca noticeably wears a dress, but doesn’t sit cross legged like the other ladies being interviewed.
The tribulations are definitely after the “Administration of Grace” has come to an end.
