It's surreal that the vice-president (Mike Pence), chief of staff (John Kelly), national security advisor (John Bolton), secretary of defense (Mark Esper), and chairman of the Joint Chiefs who served under Trump are all saying he's unfit for the job. That does not happen. Pence, Kelly, Bolton, and Esper are all very right-wing people who presumably would prefer the corpse of Ronald Reagan over a President Harris. As a former officer in the military, Milley very much does not want to get involved in politics (I read an interesting article last year about his struggles to remain apolitical when Trump wouldn't allow him to, though unfortunately it's behind a paywall). But they all know Trump is a danger to the nation and its constitution, and they're trying to sound the alarm.
Unsurprisingly, of the people who once worked for Trump, everyone, to the person, who are competent, qualified and professional now denounce him. Everyone, to the person, who are qualified clownsticks, don't.
Some might attach Texas sharpshooter to this but it is not a match. Because....It's Trump we're talking about.

What can we do as simple citizens to prepare for the coming fascist takeover? I can imagine weeklong pogroms throughout Utah eliminating the "progressive" element (sorry John Dehlin), but I doubt it will be as bad as certain parts of the country.
Right wingers don't seem to realize is that if you go left far enough on the political spectrum in America you start finding people who have as many guns as right wingers. They just don't gloat about it.
Fr, I regretted getting rid of a handgun I had, precisely because of all these right-wing nuts agitating for a civil war. I now have a bullpup shotgun (great for close quarter combat, wall and lock breaching ), a new handgun with all the lasers n crap, and an AR platform with the nunya package.
Truth be told, I’d just lay low if crap goes sideways, but, worst case scenario, if some stoopids show they faces they better have a plan because I do.

I don't know about that. Anthony Scaramucci strikes me as a clownstick, but he's been riding the anti-Trump media circuit for years. It's perfectly possible for an idiot who works for Trump to get shivved by him and then resent him for it. But anyone who believes in the principles of constitutional government is guaranteed to get shivved, because Trump thinks like an autocrat and regards any resistance to his autocratic impulses as disloyalty.

Gonna need some more classifications I guess. I can see someone putting the Mooch in with the clownsticks. He may fit better in with Roger Stone in the ratf-cker set. I've got Bannon and Miller in that one as well, with Miller lapping into the white supremacist and freakshow set, Bannon crossing over the white supremacist, embezellor and scrounge-ball sets.
I'm tired now and still have Rudy, Zinke, Pruitt, DeVos and about thirty more to get through.

Former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper, who served in the Trump administration, said Monday the public should take former President Trump “seriously” when he suggests using the military against American citizens.
“Yes I do, of course,” Esper told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins on “The Source” when asked whether he fears Trump would “try to utilize the National Guard, the military, against U.S. citizens.”
Binger, Ajax, Ceeboo and all other Trump supporters, please follow Trump's advice and vote for him on January 5th.
When you are suffering from dementia it is easy to confuse parts of your insurrection date with the general election, but Republicans love him for that and remind themselves that after Trump there will be no more elections because he will "fix it good".
