Yeah that's a good point. Glenn Beck didn't accept it and has admitted he judged Trump wrongly in 2016. It's nteresting that Trump was never indicted, sued, nor prosecuted during that time. I think I'll be voting Democrat out of spite. I'm actually still pretty angry about what Democrats have done to my country. Why fight them, when I can just let them suffer the inevitable consequences of their own actions? At least my new voters registration will decrease my chances of being audited.

But broadly, the pro-life movement seems to be where the evil starts, although, I don't consider everyone who is pro-life evil. I'm just saying that seems to be the issue that has united the reactionaries who are actively seeking to overthrow the country and take power for good as a theocracy. Yes, it's a long shot, but, Donald Trump has written them a blank check. Trump has no principles, Trump is not a Christian let alone a Christian nationalist. he just wants to win and be in the news every day, and if his Christian base can help him win and keep him in power, then he'll let them run things however they want. In practice, the more likely problem isn't the theocratic pipe dream, but right-wing loyalists tend to be incompetent.

Chapel Mormons rejected Satan's plan in the pre-existence, which was essentially Christian nationalism -- force everyone to be Christian. Mormon doctrine itself is very much pro-free agency pro-democracy, and render to Caesar and let the world do its thing. Dominionism has no place in Mormon theology. The Church as an institution is divided. In some cases it's corrupt and also anti-freedom but in other cases it's pretty chill. The Church is pretty cool it seems on immigration, for instance, and does not support the mass deportations that you do.

The Mormon church also does not pressure its members on politics. Fortunately, my closest LDS family are all 100% anti-Trump and so that gives us something on common at least.

You’re probably thinking that’s the situation because so many of his court cases weren’t likely considered to be ‘newsworthy’ items to a large audience. Many people aren’t aware of his complete history. He’s been in court over 4,000 times as plaintiff or defendant.

Well the Brethren cleared up their stance on convenience abortions recently. Besides protecting the unborn, I'm still confused at what freedoms Christians are seeking to take from you?. The freedom to show porn to our kids? Recruit them to LGBTQ lifestyles? To teach that mathematics is white supremacy in public school? The freedom to burn your brain out on drugs and tax other people to fund it? What about the workers' right to choose how he spends his paycheck? What freedom does the worker retain in any of that?
