It's 3.49 a gallon here give or take a couple of cents. Depends on where you go.
I don't do anything that requires a regular commute or travel. A buck extra on a tank of gas isn't going to break my bank--like ever.

Triple bonus points if you can solve the mystery. Also, tell me how the puppet Harris caused or did anything.canpakes wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 2:53 amDr Exiled wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 1:57 amYou have to admit that inflation is pretty terrible over the past while:

Which of those did Biden (or Harris) cause, and which of those will Trump fix?
Bonus points for describing the fix. This is important if ‘higher prices’ are being used as a reason to vote for candidate ‘x’.
I don't think she is allowed to do much and wouldn't be if she won. Those supporting/controlling her know better.
OK. So, Harris is off the hook for inflation and pet-eating Haitians.
It's not so black and white as you and those here seemingly always want it to be. She is a controlled politician but not off the hook for allowing herself to be controlled. She could go off script, but doesn't. I don't know if she could in front of a crowd. Every time she has it's been a failure. Nevertheless, the actor in these situations still has some responsibility.canpakes wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 2:28 pmOK. So, Harris is off the hook for inflation and pet-eating Haitians.
How about Trump? Will he be exerting personal creation and control of his Administration and its policies, between wolfing down Mickey Dee’s and rage-Xitting? If not, who do you suspect will be pulling his strings, and for what aims?
Why would you post such an idiotic graphic that lights up the entire page, and hope to be taken seriously? I paid $2.39 for gas last week. Eggs are $1.29 a dozen at the local Kroger, roughly what they were 4 years ago. A ton of these numbers are either outdated or just flat out wrong, and the idiotic quip "Since Kamala has been in office" shows just how dumb the person was who put this thing together. Since when in the hell are Vice Presidents responsible for prices of consumer goods?Dr Exiled wrote: ↑Wed Oct 16, 2024 1:57 amYou have to admit that inflation is pretty terrible over the past while:
