Unfortunately for Peterson, his next potential movie subject has already been done…and it’s coming out on Netflix.
In "American Primeval," director Pete Berg takes viewers to the mountain west in 1857, 10 years after Brigham Young led Latter-day Saints into what is now Salt Lake City.

"Up is down, pain is everywhere, innocence and tranquility are losing the battle to hatred and fear," per Netflix, which released early images of the show Tuesday. "There is no safe haven in these brutal lands, and only one goal matters: survival."

What they're saying: Brigham Young is described as "a man who will do whatever it takes to secure the survival of his persecuted followers — including using his Mormon army, the Nauvoo Legion," the cast description states.
This sounds a bit more like it.
Premise 1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
Premise 2. The best evidence for the Book of Mormon is eyewitness testimony.
Conclusion. Therefore, the best evidence for the Book of Mormon is notoriously unreliable.

Your kindness and generosity are exemplary, Reverend. I can only imagine what things would be like if the Mopologists exhibited even a fraction of what you routinely do.
Why thank you, Doctor Scratch. I endeavor to be fair and even generous at times.

The box office run rate has dropped from 70% of Witnesses, to 64%. Witnesses was a bomb, and cost less to make. This is starting to look like a debacle.

Dan says they’re setting up streaming deals for it now.

I’s imagine that’s a tough sell given the box office failure. I’ll be very impressed if they manage to talk Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Paramount or Apple to take it on. Has anybody touched Witnesses yet?

Living Scriptures took the leap into streaming Witnesses. Relatedly, the Relief Society sister in Parowan expressed her happiness in a phone call this afternoon that Witnesses remains available for viewing on Vimeo.
