Clueless Democrats Blaming Biden
Shaking my head. Wow, these Democrats are so hopeless. Watching CNN clips on YouTube, and hearing that Democrats are blaming Biden. So glad I do not belong to this party.

I've heard some criticism too, mostly how if he'd agreed all along not to run to set up a Democratic primary, at least people wouldn't have had the excuse Kamala was forced on us.
I'm not so sure it would have made a difference. Republicans aren't really serious about their criticisms. I thought age was disqualifying, for instance.

Biden is not to blame. FOX News is to blame. Right Wing propaganda pervasive sickness has conditioned half the country to automatically despise all things Democrat, no matter who they have running on the other side. You know, even a convicted felon, an adjudicated rapist, a traitor who stole classified documents, a traitor who tried to overthrow an election, a traitor who said he wanted to be done with the Constitution, a traitor who name calls our military heroes, who threatens to use the military on our citizens, who is already responsible for the deaths of three women who died because of his self serving quid pro quo with the religious Right who put him in power in exchange for him to flip his views on abortion and install corrupt, unworthy justices to the Supreme Court. An adulterer who paid a porn star for sex while his third wife was nursing his newborn, a career con artist who has never been successful at anything other than entertaining America's dumbest minds by pretending to perform a blowjob on microphone and yammering about Hannibal Lecter. I had no idea we had so many mouth breathing idiots in this country.

Trump has already started outsourcing his upcoming duties to mad hatter RFK Jr., and his sycophantic lackeys will just go along with whatever madhouse ideas he suggests:
RFK Jr. also believes that childhood vaccines cause autism and has vowed to make a case that they be delisted and/or removed from availability.RFK Jr. starts fleshing out his vision for Trump’s second term
What will conspiracy theorist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. do in the Trump administration? He's already eyeing a specific FDA office for elimination.

There’s long been some ambiguity about what role conspiracy theorist Robert F. Kennedy Jr. would play in Donald Trump’s second term. Ahead of Election Day, the Republican said Kennedy “can do anything he wants” and will be empowered to “go wild,” but in practical terms, no one has been able to say with confidence exactly what that means.
It was against this backdrop that Kennedy spoke to NBC News’ Vaughn Hillyard and pointed to existing federal agencies he intends to target.
He said that he would address the corruption by clearing out departments of federal workers who he believes haven’t been doing their jobs — ‘entire departments’ in some cases. Kennedy said the nutrition departments at the Food and Drug Administration ‘have to go’ because its workers are ‘not doing their job.’
In the same interview, he added, “I think fluoride is on its way out.” (As recently as Sunday, Trump said a ban on fluoride in drinking water “sounds OK to me.”)
As for what kind of role RFK Jr. will play in the administration, Hillyard asked what role he requested. “I didn’t tell them,” he replied. “I’ve told them that I want to think about it.”
Asked if he’d like to be nominated to serve as secretary of Health and Human Services, Kennedy added, “I don’t know if that’s the post that I want. I may be more effective in the White House as a health czar or something like that. But we don’t know. We haven’t decided. We’re meeting today on these issues.”
Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida appeared on CNN after the race was called and was asked whether a GOP-led Senate would be comfortable confirming the conspiracy theorist to a powerful federal role.
“Well, I think the Senate is going to give great deference to a president that just won a stunning, what I think is an electoral college landslide, when all is said and done, and a mandate,” Rubio replied. “He’s being given a mandate to govern. And I think presidents given a mandate to govern deserve from the Senate the opportunity to surround themselves with people that are going to help them execute their policies.”
In other words, yes.
Ignorance and conspiratorial thinking, in service to Trump’s laziness and ego, is going to harm the health of future generations of Americans and their children.

The leaders are blaming the people.
Sounds like a winning strategy to me. But not for Democrats.

I wonder how long it will take them to realize or acknowledge that the resultant enormous rise of potentially deadly childhood epidemics was not accompanied by any decrease in the rate of autism. Numerous studies have already shown that vaccinated children were not the slightest bit more likely to be or become autistic than unvaccinated children, while they were definitely far more likely to succumb to common childhood diseases. I suspect that no matter how strong the evidence of that, they will merely reject it, just as flat earthers reject any evidence of the rotundity of our planet.canpakes wrote: ↑Wed Nov 06, 2024 9:20 pmRFK Jr. also believes that childhood vaccines cause autism and has vowed to make a case that they be delisted and/or removed from availability.

No precept or claim is more suspect or more likely to be false than one that can only be supported by invoking the claim of Divine authority for it--no matter who or what claims such authority.

If we have learned anything, Gunnar, it is that numbers mean nothing in the face of a juicy tale for many people.

Yes, I know. The continuing existence of diehard flat earthers is conclusive evidence of that. Diehard MAGA supporters are every bit as irrational as flat earth believers. That is both sad and dangerous.

As soon as the potential in courting big money was realized, it was essentially over. Clinton Democrats are, for all intents and purposes, Republicans with identity politics window dressing. Working Americans figured that out. Democrats never recovered. They court Jeff Bezos, and then he doesn't even have the nards to endorse Harris.Philo Sofee wrote: ↑Thu Nov 07, 2024 12:47 amThey have been weak and ineffective for decades. Idiots.
