What’s the issue with vote buying? They aren’t American citizens, so if Trump offers them money because they’re fed up with being governed by Denmark, then what’s the concern?

Do you not see yourself as a progressive? Consider it from this perspective. Trump is presenting an opportunity for a population that is predominantly Inuit (people of color) which has faced marginalization and oppression, from a 90% white oppressor coutry. However, if you believe that it's in the best interest of the Inuit people of Greenland to remain under the oppression of Denmark, a nation predominantly composed of white individuals, then that's your perspective to hold.

However, I believe Trump is adopting a more progressive position than you are by providing the Inuit people with a significant financial contribution if he offers them money. When has the progressive, egalitarian, and socially liberal nation of Denmark, which is predominantly white, ever provided the people of Greenland with anything more than mere leftovers?

I support John Fettetman regarding this matter. It's unfortunate that he stands out as one of the few Democrats in the federal government who seems to be guided by common sense these days.

Generally, no. But you’d have to define what a progressive is, and I suspect you’ll have some difficulty doing so.
