It's not just Americans - Humans are retarded
Of course, anyone who didn't vote for Kamala Harris is a damned moron, but I have come to the solid conclusion the vast majority of humanity is damned retarded, and frankly, they deserve the disaster that Trump is.
Screw you America. You deserve this idiocy. All the pain that is happening - you voted for it. You damned morons.
Because you are damned idiots.

I think within this there's an interesting question - if Trump was seen as the better option, what were the issues people saw in the other candidate?

I don't think most have felt any pain yet, and if they do, they'll find a way to blame liberals for it. But I do think that Democrat leaders should quit trying to stop him, forcing Republican leaders to decide if they want their society to burn down or not. For now they can all sit back and keep their stupid parade going on social media. Some Schmo wrote: ↑Sun Feb 02, 2025 8:59 amOf course, anyone who didn't vote for Kamala Harris is a damned moron, but I have come to the solid conclusion the vast majority of humanity is damned retarded, and frankly, they deserve the disaster that Trump is.

Yeah, I'm interested to see how they spin the inflation coming from Trump's tariffs.
Trump voters are addled children who insist on touching the hot stove thinking it won't burn them this time. I will be laughing at their third degree burns. Nobody deserves them more.

Schmo look at this. Take a step back and tell me what you think is really going on. I better clarify. I'm asking from a behavioral standpoint. Don't pay attention to the words. Consider ONLY the effect of his behavior.

Trump says he agreed to "immediately pause" anticipated tariffs on Mexico for one month
From CNN's Kevin Liptak
President Donald Trump said he agreed to “immediately pause” tariffs on Mexico for a month after a “very friendly” conversation with the country’s president Claudia Sheinbaum.
“I just spoke with President Claudia Sheinbaum of Mexico. It was a very friendly conversation wherein she agreed to immediately supply 10,000 Mexican Soldiers on the Border separating Mexico and the United States,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“These soldiers will be specifically designated to stop the flow of fentanyl, and illegal migrants into our Country,” he wrote.
“We further agreed to immediately pause the anticipated tariffs for a one month period during which we will have negotiations headed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent, and Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and high-level Representatives of Mexico. I look forward to participating in those negotiations, with President Sheinbaum, as we attempt to achieve a “deal” between our two Countries,” the president continued.
The 25% tariffs on Mexico had been set to take effect at midnight. Trump over the weekend also announced new tariffs on Canada and China.
Talks with Canada: Earlier today, Trump said he held an initial phone conversation with Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, with a follow-up talk scheduled for later today, as the clock ticks toward midnight 25% tariffs on imports from the United States’ northern neighbor.
Several GOP senators push back on new tariffs, warning about adverse effects on prices in their states
From CNN's Morgan Rimmer
Several Republican senators have taken to social media platform X to push back on the President Donald Trump’s new tariffs, particularly those targeting Canada.
Sen. Susan Collins of Maine, a Trump critic, warned that her state’s “economy is integrated with Canada, our most important trading partner.”
“Certain tariffs will impose a significant burden on many families, manufacturers, the forest products industry, small businesses, lobstermen, and agricultural producers,” she argued.
“I am working with the Trump Administration to help its officials better understand the potential ramifications of certain tariffs on Maine and to find out more about their implementation, scope, duration, and other important information, including any exemptions they may make for northern border states, certain industries, agricultural producers, and others who rely on trade with Canada.”
Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa noted that farmers from his state get most of their potash, a key ingredient in fertilizers, from Canadian manufacturers.
“Biden inflation increase the input cost to farming by 20% incl particularly high prices on fertilizer. So I plead w President Trump to exempt potash from the tariff because family farmers get most of our potash from Canada,” he wrote on X.
Sen. Rand Paul, a libertarian-leaning conservative, also pushed back on the new tariffs, writing that “tariffs are simply taxes.”
“Conservatives once united against new taxes. Taxing trade will mean less trade and higher prices,” he added.

Schmo I'm going to put the outcome below this repost of my above post for you.
The question remains:
People only repeat behavior from which they profit.
What is he actually accomplishing, Schmo?
How does Trump profit?
I'm willing to answer both of those if you'd like to know what I have to say on the matter. The only reason I'm not supplying an answer is because I want to see how close we are in how we view things. I bet we're pretty darn close!

I'm married to a Trump supporter, dantana. I hear FOX News and related channels every day in my house. I am someone willing to support and pray for every incoming president but I am not a Trump supporter.dantana wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 12:42 amThe prob. Advice you didn't ask for: Don't discuss. Don't debate. Hang back, be patient, and let things unfold as they are rapidly doing right now even at the beginning of the term without a word from you. You don't have a way to change minds, dantana without making your kids feel stupid and even though you might toy with the idea of a total take down, but please consider what the outcome might be to their self esteem knowing that it is THEY and not you, who is going into the future and you want them to go there strong.
Discussion and debate with loved ones isn't going to change minds. Experience is what changes minds. In my field of work we say "Experience is the best teacher" and it really is, dantana.
It will help you to get through this if you can act on your own to effect change and take action such as writing to your state reps on both sides of the aisle if you haven't already. It's the best you can do and just know, you can discharge your feelings right here on the board with us. We all do it from time to time.

Remind yourself of the following:
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change those things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
If you're not a God believer simply revise as is appropriate for you.

Thanks Jersey Girl. You are a sweetheart! We will be back on good terms again eventually. For whatever reason, I tend to not be a -blood is thicker than water - traditionalist. I like and respect people for having quality personality traits over being obligated to like them because of their genealogy.
I wasn't very clear in my post but I was mostly just trying to make the observation that we may need to be careful what we wish for. Because if others are like me and wishing for Trump to shoot his own foot off, for we can prove the MAGA mob wrong, we are shooting our own foot off. I am just now starting a spec house and would prefer the economy doesn't crash.
