FAFO v. Empathy
See Jane. See Jane stand and deliver. Do you agree or disagree with her advice? Her challenge to enlarge the tent? for what it's worth I agree wholeheartedly with her. Reflecting on what form my own protest takes. If you're in direct opposition to the activity of the current administration, what's your form? I know what my approach is one:one with folks. It's essentially not condemning people who find themseles reaching a point of regret because in my mind, if we shut the door in their faces there's no way for them to come back. FAFO is an all too human reaction. I've had that thought from time to time. But is it productive to achieving the meeting of needs in this society?
I would like more ideas if you've got them.

What was the topic she was talking about in specific context? How was that a Trump take down?

Re: FAFO v. Empathy
I suppose you could read into it as aiming a dig indirectly at the Orange Money Grubber. But really she is just saying that she’d like people to stick together in times of trouble and hardship, be nicer to each other, and that we should all give a damn about each other whatever comes our way.
I don’t see it reaches the level of a Trump Takedown. It’s just a statement of nice sentiments.

Re: FAFO v. Empathy
I watched the video, and what struck me most is how misinformed her perspective is on the meaning of "Woke." Her perspective on "Woke" is that it signifies caring about others and their feelings. However, that's just part of the narrative, as it suggests that if "Woke" genuinely prioritized people's concerns, figures like Tulsi Gabbard, RFK Jr., Joe Rogan, and Elon Musk would still be part of the Democratic Party.
However, their absence from the party stems from the notion that "Wokeness" prioritizes a narrative that exclusively supports those who align with the "Woke" agenda, while perceiving anyone else as an adversary.
The empathy that Jane Fonda discusses in her speech seems to be confined within the boundaries of the "Woke" narrative she subscribes to. All others are viewed as adversaries, white supremacists, Nazis, or Fascists.
If the "Woke" movement genuinely centered on empathy and concern for others, its purpose would be commendable. However, "Wokeism" has transformed into a strict and inflexible ideology that excludes anyone who does not fully conform. That explains the presence of numerous notable former Democrats in significant roles within the Trump organization.

“F” Around and Find Out: It's basically a label right now for people regretting their Trump vote.

That's not why they left the party. The GOP has become insane over the last 20 years, and these fruitcakes all realized insane was more their style.Hound of Heaven wrote: ↑Tue Feb 25, 2025 12:02 pmI watched the video, and what struck me most is how misinformed her perspective is on the meaning of "Woke." There's no way you've ever been a Democrat; otherwise, you wouldn't make the worst assumptions about their motivations.
Could you please provide us with the written documentation on the "woke agenda?" I've never seen it.However, their absence from the party stems from the notion that "Wokeness" prioritizes a narrative that exclusively supports those who align with the "Woke" agenda, while perceiving anyone else as an adversary.

You're bad at concern trolling. It couldn't be more transparent.

Re: FAFO v. Empathy
Trump has appropriated the FAFO from the progressives on TikTok, using it to articulate his position in the presidency while the Democrats remain outside of it. Once again, he has transformed a progressive talking point, amplifying it and bringing it into the public eye in a way that the progressives could never have imagined for one of their outlandish movements. Here are several instances of how Trump is reshaping the meaning of FAFO.

No, that is incorrect. "FAFO" does not equal question mark.
